Summary: Purchased a pair of Cerwin Vega XLS-215 Dual 3-Way for my home audio system and have loved these since day one. Don't buy them if you can't feed them enough amplified power. They may not sound as incredible as I am about to describe.
Summary: I have always wanted a CV I have tried other brands but the CV price / performance was good, above average, good value for money On the sound // Clear mid range, good bass,--Top was good but not great // The whole sound could be a bit smoother //the dynamics is good.
Summary: I do not like heavy rap or dubstep or disco...so why did I order these speakers? Because when I watch a movie and there is an explosion, or a loud passage in some music, I like a little 'omph', if that is an audiophile term.
Summary: I have these now and also the Bic DV62si. These are in a league above the Bics. Very powerful small speaker. Big sound. Powerful bass and clean mids and highs. Tweeters are cleaner than the Bics and good midrange. Very rich sound. Cymbals actually are not distorted, and harsh like the Bics.

Summary: My Dad has a set of these from the 80's and they still sound better than any other floor tower I have ever heard. I grew up with them and their thounderous booms rattling the house. So it seemed only natural to buy a set for my house. I love the sound these speakers produce.
It balances nicely with the Cerwin Vega speakers in the XLS series

Summary: This is a high value, strong center channel, where in a surround sound system, most of the dialog is produced. It balances nicely with the Cerwin Vega speakers in the XLS series. A great value--can think of none better.
