Summary: I am very disappointed in this sub. One of the ports came unglued on the first day making a honking noise. Also, the box stuffing comes flying out the ports and makes a huge mess all over the place. It appears to be recycled shredded denim, it just goes everywhere.
Summary: I have these now and also the Bic DV62si. These are in a league above the Bics. Very powerful small speaker. Big sound. Powerful bass and clean mids and highs. Tweeters are cleaner than the Bics and good midrange. Very rich sound. Cymbals actually are not distorted, and harsh like the Bics.
Summary: I bought one through another store and got it home and hooked it up. I fired it up with some music just to get it started and I noticed a honking sound coming out of the back. I turned it around to see what it was and one of the ports had come unglued from the back of the box which was making the...
Summary: Fantastic speakers!!! I have a powerful sony receiver and have sony floor speakers for back of room/surround sound and use the cerwin Vegas as my two front/main speakers, they have amazing sound
Summary: I finally gave up my ~35 year old Cerwin Vega D7s. We have a nice home theater system, and the Wife was finding the large cabinets too dated and beat up. The iconic status of the brand was why I recouped the same $200.
Summary: i cant tell ya how nice it feels to crank it up without the fear of blowing speakers, had athena as-f1 speakers that were exellent sounding but fixed woofers 4 times.these are fuse protected and sound even better as a three way obviously should.just look at them and you cant help but turn the stereo...
Summary: These speakers do sound great, and even excellent, depending on the style of music. Obviously, they play incredibly loud, but they tend to get a bit muddy when the music gets busy, particularly with multiple midrange-y guitars (Black Crowes, Led Zeppelin, Drive-By Truckers, etc.
Summary: I purchased two of these from a sale here in town to hook up to my Onkyo-TXNR 717 receiver because i wanted more sound when listening to music. I already own a pair of Seismic Audio dual 15" pa speakers that sound great along with a pyle pt3300 3000 watt amp.
Summary: I was a little leery when I chose these speakers for my quad room when I found out they also made a matching sub-woofer. But because of the name I took the chance and bought 4 of these together. After hooking them up to my Sansui QRX-999 (60watts rms times 4)there was no more doubt.
