  • Summary: Very impressed by the power and sound quality of these small speakers. Attractive finish. Replaced two larger, older JVC speakers with these smaller ones.

Good value speaker

Doctor Mike, Amazon
24 March 2014
  • Summary: At this price and size don't expect earth shattering bass or a life like experience. What you get is a fun speaker that mates well with NAD and Cambridge audio gear. Not bad with my Yamaha integrated but not quite as good. A tad bright and light on bass, but for the price you get a very good small speaker you can listen without fatigue. Treble, midrange and soundstage depth are good for price. A top value choice. Decided over long-term listening deserves 4 stars.

Beautiful speakers with great sound

Collin, Amazon
7 March 2014
  • Summary: These are impressive speakers for their small size. The dark walnut finish looks very sharp and clean, almost giving them a vintage look. They produce a very warm sound, with good soundstage and exceptionally clear vocals. Bass is again impressive for the size, but to really shake the walls a subwoofer would be needed.

Took the plunge and it paid off!!

Angela Thompson, Amazon
27 December 2013
  • Summary: Nice sounding speaker. Be aware that the woofer is actually a 4.5" and not a 5.25" like Amazon states. I have owned; M&K, Paradigm, B&W, and others. These speakers have a nice balance top to bottom. Low end has very nice decay and presence. Mids and highs complement each other well. Highs are smooth and very pleasant. The soundstage is expansive and these speakers almost disappear. Enjoying them very much!!
