Good for the money

Dave, Crutchfield
3 April 2015
  • Summary: Great sound in a small package. You can adjust the base response by fiddling with the placement and by using or removing the foam included foam baffles that go in the rear ports. Base can be loud and boomy if you want it, or more subtle, which is what I prefer. Vocals sound fantastic.
  • Pros: Very nice sound for the money. Base can be adjusted by placement.
  • Cons: Sensitive to placement. I've deliberately listed this as both a pro and a con. High end isn't fantastic, but you get what you pay for.

Good quality inexpensive speakers.

Patrick S. Mcmullen, Amazon
15 February 2015
  • Summary: I use these speakers as rear speakers in a 5.1 home theater system. I feel they blend seamlessly with my Cambridge Audio Aero 2 fronts and Aero 5 center channel. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a set of five of these to make a mid-level quality home theater setup.

Little box, BIG sound

Klaus, Crutchfield
7 August 2014
  • Summary: My wife wanted small and unobtrusive, and I (being a musician as well as a typical dude) wanted a big, pure, and loud-capable sound. Well, I found the perfect speakers. These things create a wonderful, full soundscape, from Bartok's string quartets to AC/DC's rock.
  • Pros: Visually - small and aesthetically pleasing; Sound - big and aesthetically pleasing
  • Cons: none, for our application

Just as expected

Michael, Crutchfield
29 July 2014
  • Summary: I bought these speakers knowing they weren't top of line thousand dollar speakers but would definitely be an upgrade over my 2.5" L/R especially when it came to music and that is exactly what I got.
  • Pros: Look beautiful. Very natural and flat. Good detail. Good bass detail. Good price.
  • Cons: No magnetic grill covers.

Good value speaker

Doctor Mike, Amazon
8 June 2014
  • Summary: At this price and size don't expect earth shattering bass or a life like experience. What you get is a fun speaker that mates well with NAD and Cambridge audio gear. Not bad with my Yamaha integrated but not quite as good.

Beautiful speakers with great sound

Collin, Amazon
7 March 2014
  • Summary: These are impressive speakers for their small size. The dark walnut finish looks very sharp and clean, almost giving them a vintage look. They produce a very warm sound, with good soundstage and exceptionally clear vocals.

Took the plunge and it paid off!!

Angela Thompson, Amazon
27 December 2013
  • Summary: Nice sounding speaker. Be aware that the woofer is actually a 4.5" and not a 5.25" like Amazon states. I have owned; M&K, Paradigm, B&W, and others. These speakers have a nice balance top to bottom. Low end has very nice decay and presence. Mids and highs complement each other well.
