Boston Acoustics MC200 Air

PC Magazine
12 February 2013
  • Conclusion: Boston Acoustics MC200 Air is a fine Airplay-based wireless speaker system with a reasonable price tag, but it's not a standout in a field crowded with similar models, many of which perform better and offer more.
  • Pros: Clean, crisp audio does not distort on deep bass. Streams wireless audio via Apple's AirPlay, as well as DLNA. Ideal for vocal-focused genres, as well as genres that don't rely on deep bass. Wall-mountable.
  • Cons: Digital signal processing limits bass response at high volumes, sounds thin. Pesky setup process compared with the competition. 3.5mm cable for Aux input is not included.
