Unless you are an audio snob this is the perfect system for you
4 weeks ago
Summary: I have bought 3 of these systems; two for myself and one as a gift. This system is better value for money than almost any other electronics product I have bought. The sound is crisp and the sub-woofer makes the difference you expect it to. It considerably enhances our TV, movie, and music listening experience. I am not going to pretend to be an audiophile - for music systems sound ok, good, or great. This system definitely delivers in the great category.

Summary: This speaker system is of very high quality. The sound is crisp and clear although I haven't tried the optical input which should be even better. The speakers feel very solid and of high quality build. The Bluetooth devices pair easily, the remote is very handy also, however it is the only part of this system that feels cheap. I understand that it can be easily substituted with a universal remote or even your own TV remote (there is a programing feature).
Summary: l can't believe the full sound and power that comes from this audio system. I purchased this system about 10 months ago, not realizing after I received it, my tv did not have any audio out connections. I just purchased a new tv with the digital audio out and finally got to try this system out. what a big surprise. I'm blown away!!! much better sound than I had expected.
Summary: I decided to get these for my bedroom. I hooked them up to my TV and loved them... But then I thought... How would these sound in front of my computer with both satellite speakers about a 16 inches from my head? I am using two 22 inch monitors and they fit perfectly under them. Of course the monitors are off set. One right in front and one to my right side. I am also running this setup through a Schiit Audio DAC since I am at my computer now.
Summary: I first heard the sound of these speakers at a friend's place and really became fan of it. So, I was quite clear in my mind that I have to get Boston Acoustics speakers only. On top of it, there are much more affordable then any other brand. Quality wise, they are more than awesome. The moment you take the smaller speakers in hand, you can feel the build quality which is really really good. Same goes for the main woofer which is heavy.
Summary: I will try to be very brief in my review, especially for all of those who are "struggling" on making a final decision on which sound system to buy, cause I was on that position and sometimes searching for the perfect comment or feedback, can make you feel a little exhausted. *I tried it literally with each type of musical genre. (ROCK, LATIN, COUNTRY, HIP HOP, BLUES, CLASSICAL, EDM etc, you name it) BTW, I'm a music junkie. This system is perfect to fill a small area.
Summary: Many reviewers say 'Well, I'm not a musician but...' Well I am a musician and play various instruments including key board, guitar, clarinet and even fumble with bag pipes now and then. ha The Soundware XS Digital Cinema blows me away! Music videos are super great and action movies have that rumble during the explosions and chase scenes. The so called aficionados critique the clarity of mid band ... blah de blah blah. Remember this is less than $200.00 here.
Originally purchased as add on, but ended up replacing my current system.

Summary: I was very picky about what I wanted and this unit really produces great quality to be expected from Boston Acoustics! It is clear, can get loud, and produces great bass from a small woofer. The remote unit can function either Bluetooth, RCA, or headphone inputs. Only works as a stand alone home theater, my original intention was to add it my current home theater with Boston speakers, but I just ended up replacing it.
Summary: I love the simplicity of small 2.1 speakers for TV and music in my living room. Was thinking of a soundbar, but this looks better, is smaller, and probably better sound than most 2.1 entry level soundbars. Unfortunately my old klipsch promedias were not compatible with my new samsung led TV because it didn't have volume control for analog output so went with the Boston's. The design of the satellites and mounts are fantastic.
