Solid speaker system with great sound in a compact package
25 November 2014
Summary: Solid speaker system with great sound in a compact package. The satellite speakers are beautifully designed and feel solid. They produce great sound with clear highs and mids. The subwoofer produces solid, tight bass.
Summary: The sound: Crisp, undistorted until max volume (and even then, only minor), a 100 percent improvement over flat screen speakers. The sub is somewhat underpowered, but delivers enough on the lows to be a positive.
Summary: speakers arrived 2 days early, they were well packaged and had no damage. hookup was straight forward and pain free. the only glitch was programming the remote to my tv and i suspect the only problem here is i need new batteries in my tv remote as indicated in the boston manual.
Summary: I bought this to replace an Onkyo LS3100 that I had recently purchased because the Onkyo did not allow input switching and would disconnect Bluetooth every 5 minutes. The SoundWare XS has an input switch on the remote and stays connected to Bluetooth until manually disconnected.
Summary: Sounds great for such a small system. My only complaint is that the volume occasionally gets out of synch with the TV even when I placed the Boston Acoustics remote received right above my TV.
Summary: Sound is competent for a bedroom or small office setting. I really like the Bluetooth connectivity, the learning remote, and that I can use other remotes to control the volume. I am a professional musician, and I won't use these speakers to SERIOUSLY listen to music, but for background music for...
Summary: Firstly these speakers sound good ( I am a live sound engineer). They could be better but for their size and price I think they're a great value. My issues are with the noise the power supply in the sub woofer it seems to emit a constant high pitched sine wave.
