You do not regret the purchase. Good music without spending too much

petergius, Ebay

  • Summary: I'm not an audiophile - almost -, but I listen to music HI FI forever. After a period of neglect due to the advent of digital readers, I felt the need to return to old habits. I took a good amp, phono, cd player is.

Nice Little Speakers

VC, Crutchfield
25 April 2014
  • Summary: The purpose for these speakers is solely for listening to "music" via my 2-channel Receiver. So, home theater fans, this review is not for you. I listen to all kinds of music; mostly Classical, and some Pop, Rock and Jazz.
  • Pros: Sounds quality is nature and very detail. Nice looking, with or without the front grille. Like the magnetic front grille, great feature. Piano black finish increases its value, looks great and blend in well. Small size.
  • Cons: Price is slightly on the high side.

Good Sound and Looks for the Price

audio, Crutchfield
25 April 2014
  • Summary: These speakers are at a good value to performance point. In order to get something substantially better on the comercial side, you will doube the price. I am running them on as a 2.1 system with the Boson ASW 650 powered subwoofer and this seems to be a good match for my larger room.
  • Pros: Looks Good sound Great midrange
  • Cons: A bit muddy in the low mid region. High end needed 3 - 5 dB boost over 12k in my application to stand out a little better. Made in China :(

  • Summary: 150-200$ price is really good for this speaker. sound quality is little bit better than my wharfedale 10.1, but make is not as good as 10.1. a decent speaker stand is necessary to produce a good soundstage. worth to buy for budget systems.

  • Summary: well balanced and dynamic, good spatial separation. however, compared with a sennheiser hd600 headphone, it is little bit lack of tone color for midrange. this can be solved by changing capacitors of the speaker crossover part. good speakers for its price.

Sensitive to placement, otherwise great

Gary, Crutchfield
13 October 2012
  • Summary: I bought these as 'B' speakers for my kitchen. I have Boston Acoustics VR-970's in my 'listening' room and love them so I wanted to stay with BA. I only have one place that I really can put speakers in my kitchen and these really lit up the sheetrock wall right behind them resulting a very boomy /...
  • Pros: Clear, good clarity, dispersion and frequency range.
  • Cons: In my experience, very sensitive to placement.

  • Summary: Kohtuuhintaista perusnäkkileipää keskivertoa parempaan kotikuunteluun.
