Summary: main problem with this speakers is sound comes beyond the point when watching a movie in my mac switching to bose speakers like if I'm watching movie on 1;10 seconds sound plays 10 seconds beyond but my wifi is has highest speed it could be other than this every thing is very good room filling sound
Summary: If you are an Android user - DON'T BUY THIS!!! I did and wasted my money. I feel betrayed by Bose. They are supposed to be the leader in sound technology, but boy have they fallen flat on this system. The sound is OK, but the application is so bad you would think it was written by a bunch of monkeys. No WI-FI streaming from your Android device. So I can't play music from my Note 3 library across the Soundtouch (unless you use a cable). Who wants that? KILLER mistake.
Summary: lacks bass! can't believe there is no bass for the size. Instead, I highly recommend the sound link 3 ( well balanced). Another issue is please buy a aux cable because that is what you will be using all the time. Rarely stays connected. And super duper heavy, good luck in trying to keep it on a shelf attached to the wall. Same weight as those Sony 24" trinitron Tube Tv's.
Summary: I purchased the Sound Touch 30 for my wife's birthday and it is fantastic. I bought it from another site as I had points to use. I use all Apple products and it took about 10-15 minutes to create an account, connect to WiFi, and get the software downloaded and updated. A very simple process; the sound is amazing. We had a SoundDock and this SoundTouch 30 blows it away. So much sound out of a small package, we love it. The SoundTouch iPhone app is not bad, but not great.
Summary: First of all I love this machine. I was a bit worried at the complexity of wi if music system but Bose made it simple even for a neophyte like me. First, you connect the Bose sound touch to your computer via a cable. Follow the prompts on Bose's app and you are done. You then can play music from you IOS device (that's what I have) via Bose's app or via Airplay.
Summary: The Soundtouch 30 I purchased about 3 months ago has been a kind of love/hate relationship. The Love: I had my problems setting up as well, and I had to send the unit back, because it was having some technical issue. Bose stepped in and treated me like a king, even when the distributor acted like I had the plague. They fixed the unit, and shipped it all at their cost, so a tip of the hat to Bose for that. Their technical assistance is better than I have ever experienced.
