Summary: These are incredible speakers. We have a pool with these on two ends and they throw incredible surround all through our 2 acre yard. Had two weddings and the music jockeys ended up using these to push sound instead of their own systems. Love them. Wish I had bought two more but the two do a great job.
Summary: I have owned these for three years and they still work perfectly and look great, even in Wisconsin winters. The Bose speakers are worth every penny and provide a beautiful sound for your outdoor space. Do not waste your money on less expensive brands, purchase the Bose you will be happy.
Summary: Forget wireless! These speakers are all they are advertised. I have 4 of them on a 7.1 system paired along with two of the Bose 251s. My only regret is dag gum Bose won't spring for a nice outdoor center speaker. They really are rich sounding and they're everything I hoped for. Match them up with the highest rated receiver you want because they won't blow, Bose never does. Be sure you do bury them as recommended.
Summary: Bought a pair and installed on our deck for my wife who loves to sit out and listen to her music. Installation was easy and sound is incredible. Can't say much yet about durability as I've only had them for about a month. I saw one reviewer who complained because they only lasted for five years! Get a life guy. Most marriages don't last for five years! A nice solid set of speakers. Buy them and you'll be pleased.
Summary: We recently bought two sets of outdoor speakers (Bose Fee Space 51 and Definitive AW 6500) and connected them to a Sonos wireless system (using the Connect: AMP). We like both sets of speakers but the sound is crisper from the Definitives. Bose as always does a good job delivering bass and the in ground form factor fits that space very well - but several people who have listened to both speakers prefer the sound from the Definitives.
