Sounds great and it is a great match for an iMac

Raf, B&H Photo
13 December 2014
  • Excerpt: Great speakers. Looks great beside the iMac but most importantly, sounds awesome. Just the right amount of bass I need on top of my desk. The volume and mute knob (that also has an input and headphone jackets) is very handy!
  • Pros: Design, Sound Quality
  • Cons: Price

Most Amazing 2.0 Speakers Ever

Jim McClain, B&H Photo
5 October 2014
  • Excerpt: Really, ever. I've been a PC user since 1991 and connected my first computer speakers a year later. I've had some great speaker systems, including many 5.1 components. Until these Bose Companion 20 speakers, all the 2-speaker systems I've tried have been mediocre at best.
  • Pros: Compact, Size, Sound Quality, Style, Stylish
  • Cons: Lack Of Color Options

I'm glad someone caters to us apartment-dwellers too.

Sirenyard, Amazon
29 August 2014
  • Summary: These really do sound good. I have an apartment so a sub woofer is not really desirable. I was close to pulling the trigger on a Creative wifi setup, but went with this instead because the sound quality is supposed to be a lot better and the wifi system is supposed to have "sleep" issues where the...

Bose Companion 20 Speakers

Eddie141, ABT Electronics
26 August 2014
  • Excerpt: I bought these speakers for my desktop to compliment my new iMac which they do very well. This is a well thought out product that is very easy to set up. Although expensive, this is a quality set of speakers if you are not too heavy into bass.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Configure, Lightweight, Quiet, Versatile
  • Cons: Could Use More Baas, Pricey

expected more from Bose for $250.

Bruce60, Hewlett-Packard
22 August 2014
  • Summary: I expected better from Bose for $250. A longer cord was needed to plug them into the processor, I would have liked an adjustment for highs, lows and midrange and the sound was terrible. I expected a more crisp, clear sound. The sound was all bass and midrange. A tweeter would have been nice.

A Phenomenal Speaker System

Paul L. Fletcher, Amazon
24 July 2014
  • Summary: This is a phenomenal speaker system. It does what Bose is known for: It delivers a big, full range sound from little speakers. I use mine to accompany my desktop computer. I previously had a big, bulky bass unit with five speakers. Hard to find a place to put something that big.
