Excerpt: Great speakers. Looks great beside the iMac but most importantly, sounds awesome. Just the right amount of bass I need on top of my desk. The volume and mute knob (that also has an input and headphone jackets) is very handy!
Excerpt: I changed my desk top this year and need to add good quality speakers for viewing YouTube or online movies etc. Bose Companion 20 provides good value for my purpose. It is easy to install. I like the on/off and volume control device.
Excerpt: Really, ever. I've been a PC user since 1991 and connected my first computer speakers a year later. I've had some great speaker systems, including many 5.1 components. Until these Bose Companion 20 speakers, all the 2-speaker systems I've tried have been mediocre at best.

Excerpt: I bought these speakers for my desktop to compliment my new iMac which they do very well. This is a well thought out product that is very easy to set up. Although expensive, this is a quality set of speakers if you are not too heavy into bass.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Configure, Lightweight, Quiet, Versatile
Summary: I expected better from Bose for $250. A longer cord was needed to plug them into the processor, I would have liked an adjustment for highs, lows and midrange and the sound was terrible. I expected a more crisp, clear sound. The sound was all bass and midrange. A tweeter would have been nice.
Summary: This is a phenomenal speaker system. It does what Bose is known for: It delivers a big, full range sound from little speakers. I use mine to accompany my desktop computer. I previously had a big, bulky bass unit with five speakers. Hard to find a place to put something that big.
