    Although the Bose Acoustimass 6 Home Entertainment Speaker System is slightly overpriced when considering the audio quality and performance, it is a great entry-level speaker system for the consumer who isn't too concerned with the perfection of specific sound frequencies. The five "virtually invisible" cube speakers are a great fit for your entertainment room, and the 5.1 channel experience is a big improvement over predecessor systems. Read more

    Bought these refurbished at a bose outlet store. Hooked up to a Marantz NR1402, 250 watt, 5.1 surround receiver using the included bose speaker wires and patch cords. I was suspicious about buying refurbished but they had a 30 day money back guarantee plus original warranty and i couldnt pass up on the great discounted price. out of the box it looked in good cosmetic shape with a couple tiny scuff marks on the very heavy bass module.     I've been a big Bose fan for many years, and the Acoustimass 6 system certainly lives up to my expectations. A great looking, well built set of speakers, with a unique and convenient wiring set up, these little guys [and the hefty sub] deliver clean, crisp audio faithfully from all sources. I find the bottom end quite sufficient. I have them paired to an Onkyo receiver, and enjoy the sound reproduced from TV, DVD's, CD's and satellite. Great speakers at the price point. Read more

    I bought it to replace my old Sony home theater. At the beginning I am a little worried about the sound quality since the satelite speakers looks so tiny. But to my supprise, those tiny little thing create wonderful sound. I paired these with my Panasonic SA-XR55 receiver and I can hear much more details than before. I can't comment whether it is really worth the MSRP price Bose put on it. Read more
