Bose 201 Series II speakers-great bookshelf perfomance & value!
6 February 2014
Summary: Very nice book shelf speaker with a dedicated right and left channel speaker. These came out in 1984 and were the next iteration after the original Bose 201 speaker! These are a 2 way design with a woofer and tweeter.
Summary: Amazing sound! When considering the overall size or lack-thereof as well as sound quality, these are tough to beat. They easily fill the entire 400 sq ft room with quality full range and are unimposing enough that I've almost effectively hidden them completely.
Summary: The Bose 201 series speakers have served me well for almost 10 years. I've had them paired with a Bose center-channel and rear speakers. The high end sounds coming from drum cymbals and guitar solos in rock music, clarinet, trumpet and flute for classical - are all crisp and clear.
Summary: You read a lot of technical jargon in these things. Listen, if you want a good stereo sound at a decent price - these SOUND good. They are full and responsive to almost every type of music you play through them.
Summary: These speakers are truly amazing. The sound is so crystal clear and really makes it feel like the concert is in your living room. The vocals really come to life. These speakers are a great buy.
