Love them, but may not be for everyone? Matter of taste.

Summary: These are fantastic. I am not an audiophile. I use these as part of a home theater setup (with a BIC horn tweeter center channel) in one of two houses. Both houses are almost identical otherwise (polk r15 surrounds, BIC 12" subs). I got them because of the price, reviews and novelty of horn tweeter. After listening to my other system, or at other folks' homes, these sound almost strangely clear.
Summary: the description is out of date as to frequency coverage. 35Hz to 23Hz is the listing at BIC site and on my paperwork from my purchase. 94db @1 watt 1 meter and high efficiency output to 116db. they were a bit larger than I expected but they were replacing some 6" MTX in wall speakers, they were dismissed to my patio. these FH8-W went into my garage. I have the BIC FH6-LCR, 3 in my home theater system and they sound great with the horn tweeter.
Summary: I installed a new 7.2 home theater setup and used BIC for all my speakers, front, center, sides, rear, and subs. BICs sound better than anything I've had, and better than my other setup in my family room. I've used brand names but BICs are the best sound I've had. I would recommend any of thier products. I used the FH-6Ws for my side and rear speakers, and the FH-8W for the fronts and the FH6-LCR for my center. I also have the F12 sub.
Summary: Wanted a "clean" looking Home Theater/Stereo System, so investigated in-walls. Couldn't find much info or reviews relative to the BIC FH8 or FH6-W speakers. The inexpensive price had me very concerned, especially when I looked at the very good frequency range and other impressive specs posted on the BIC website. Just didn't make sense relative to name brand specs/pricing.
Summary: This purchase was based on how well the dv62si's performed. I recently undertook a project of whole house audio with the Sonos based system (which by the way is EXCELLENT!). I needed an affordable way of outfitting the house with speakers....bedroom...62's....kitchen ..polks...and then the master bathroom...which is where I put the FH8's.....they are MORE than enough for a bathroom....I might even consider them for a surround sound system...
