Pros: Great speakers that sound much larger than they actually are. Well made, easy to install and come with a decent guaranty. I would recommend these for anyone on a budget or just willing to get a bang for their buck.
Summary: Really a decent pair of outdoor speakers that can actually hold up to the elements. I've had them at my cabin on the river for 3 years now and they sound as good or better than when they were new.
Summary: Great speakers. I got these a year ago for my deck and not only do they produce great sound, they have survived all the rain, snow, sleet, hail, wind and temperatures that NJ threw at them. Even a hurricane! I have them mounted on deck railing posts which totally exposes them to the elements and in addition to surviving, there is not an ounce of rust on them and they still sound like the day I bought them.
Summary: I put these out doors, under the eave of my house and so far they work good. There has been rain since then I don't think the speaker get rained on where there at but have had no issues with moisture. Sound is decent, no where near as rich as my Energy book shelf speaker but these where only $40 for the set, so taking that into account I'm happy with them.
Summary: Not the most efficient speakers out there, nor should they be. They do a great job of resisting the weather (at least here in SoCal) and making nice sounds. Like that the white finish blends with the fascia board on my balcony to make them almost invisible.
Summary: These speakers sound great! I was looking for some speakers to listen to in my garage and backyard and these speakers do the job for a lot less money than I expected to pay. I have Bose speakers throughout my home and in my car. Relative to the price and sound of these speakers, these are a much better deal!
Summary: I found these ironically named Bic America BICRTRV442 Rtrv44-2 Indoor/outdoor 3-Way speakers just OK, certainly not what I would call much beyond OK mid-fi speakers (really could be low-fi). Note that the speakers are made in China and shipping with skinny red and black speaker wire that is hardly a bonus. These are, as expected, equipped with the old push mount spring clips that will not accept banana plugs or thick cables (hence the ultra cheap wire thrown in).
Summary: I have been using these speakers for a while and once they broke in they sound great I use theme on my sony 5.1 and they were a much needed upgrade as I lost 1 rear speaker clean sound with good definition at a great price point will get the other 2 soon
