Summary: I was skeptical like everyone else because of the unknown name brand. Like everyone else though, I read the reviews and gave it a chance. And like everyone else I was completely BLOWN AWAY! I've had these for a about 4 years now. The clarity is UNREAL. The lows that come out of these things are nothing short of EXCELLENT! I've don't have a sub yet but have only been able to get by because the lows are so good on these 6.5" speakers. Can't imagine the 8" versions.
Summary: You simply can not beat these speakers for the price. I decided to replace my old Sony speakers which I've had for about 15 years. They served me well but I could hear the sound degrade over the years. I already have a 12" BIC sub and was very pleased with it so, I decided to give these a go. The sound is very crisp and clear with nice range. I'd say the many good reviews I read before buying these were dead on.
Summary: I spent weeks comparing tower speakers in this piece range and I can say with confidence that for the price, there isn't really anything out there that will perform as well as these do. They've changed my outlook on how speakers are supposed to sound. They are crisp and clean and not overpowering in any register. Also, they get LOUD, but even as you turn the volume up, the sound quality doesn't go down.
I was disappointed. In the meantime I had a outside BBQ ...

Summary: Im not sure where to begin. 7 years ago I purchased a $1,400 set of speakers. A month ago they blew out, not even being played loud. I was disappointed. In the meantime I had a outside BBQ party and my BIC outdoor Adatotos where being played and sounding great after 20 years and I was getting compliments on the sound. This being said I thought why not see if BIC is even still making speakers. I went to the web site and sure enough they still do. THANK FULLY so.
Summary: These speakers are awesome. Out the box it will put a smile on your face and the more you play them the better they get. They are not the best speakers I've ever heard but you won't find anything nearly as good at this price range. The design is very simple but is very high quality. Solid wood with a great finish. They are so sexy when you have it out without the grill! The grill is also good quality. It is NOT hard to come off like some reviewers have said.
Summary: Very good speakers, I am not an audiophile or whatever but they do sound very good to my ears. The bass and the treble sound very nice and so do the mids. I am running these with DV62s as the surrounds and Polk PSW10 as the sub, thinking about adding a center channel, but listening to all the movies and music, i don't know if i need the center yet, or how big of a difference a center channel would make.
Summary: If you want attractive floorstanding speakers with good sound for both music and movies, the BIC DV64 is a very good buy. If you're looking for the deepest room shaking-bass, super delicate highs and a magically emotional mid-range, along with real rosewood cabinets, add several thousand dollars to your budget, because you won't find all or even most of that in any one speaker in this price range.
Summary: First, let me start with the looks. The speaker towers have a black wood grain finish that doesn't look cheap and works well with other dark furniture. The covers are made of a quality mesh with a small logo at the bottom that protects the speakers from prying fingers. In brighter lighting, the 4 speakers are visible through the meshing but in most living room lighting conditions you won't be seeing the speakers unless you are really looking for them.
Summary: I was a little skeptical about purchasing these speakers having never heard of BIC in the first place, but the ratings on these guys were so good I had to try them. I've been listening to and dealing with music for over 35 years. From being a DJ to installing car stereo's to setting up home entertainmemt centers.
