DIY tweak makes this an even better value.

Summary: Fantastic speakers for the the cost and maybe even better after my tweak. My BICs are connected to a 1970's Toshiba 35 watts per channel receiver, an audiophile quality Denon CD player, and a B&O tangential turntable and I'm enjoying sound comparable to my expensive sound systems!
Summary: I would never buy any other bookshelf speaker. This is absolute value for your money. Is there higher end stuff out there? Sure. Will 90% of us be able to tell the difference from these and higher priced bookshelf speakers, not likely. Will they put your full range satellite speakers to shame?
Summary: Seemed to be well made. Great replacement speakers for any tv. All you really need is a small sub (which you don't really need if you aren't serious about sound). I was cautious about the brand name and price, not any more. I'd buy BIC again.
Summary: Small, inexpensive speakers with big speaker sound. Surprisingly strong bass, although a subwoofer might be a good idea. I'm using these in the basement with an older receiver that doesn't have a subwoofer out, but I'm really not missing it. Tough to beat for the price.
Summary: I have a BIC FH6-LCR center channel speaker I wanted front left and right to match it. I will break these in before I make any negative or positive comments. But as it stands right out of the box I think I'll be very pleased.
INCREDIBLE Speakers for a Hundred Bucks. Blow BOSE 201s away.

Summary: My story: I bought a pair of Bose 201 Series IV speakers from a friend for the living room stereo. Hooked them up but found them less than satisfying. Then I stumbled upon these BIC DV62si's at Amazon.
Summary: Long time audiophile here, constantly buying and trying new speakers and other sound equipment. First the negative, I'm not crazy about the veneer on the speaker. It's not really black as listed, more of a charcoal gray and has a heavy woodgrain type of pattern.
Summary: IMO clear, smooth, detailed, open sounding, nice balance. Good looking. Don't know why you'd want to modify them. Prefer these over the popular Pioneer BS22's and smaller Micca 42x's that I tried. Perfect for my budget system. Wish I found them long ago. My search has ended.
Summary: May not be considered an audiophile ( far from it ) but at least for what I listen to these speakers are awesome. I was using the speaker cubes from an older Bose Lifestyle 25 system. I had already purchased a Yamaha Sub and an Onkyo Integra rcvr.
Summary: I've got all BIC speakers for my 5.1 system powered by a denon AVR400 receiver. DV62si for fronts, DV62CLS for center, PL200 for sub and DV52si for rears. This set up rocks for both movies and music. I upgraded from an old energy system and could not be happier.
