Summary: This is a very nice speaker that can be used as a center or left/right channels. If you plan to place this on a shelf of your entertainment center, take note of the speaker's dimensions because it's easy to underestimate the size of this thing. It's big and relatively heavy. Paired with BIC's DV64s, this makes for a wonderful front sound stage. Ultimately, this is the best center you can get for the price. It's punchy and articulate, smooth yet crisp.
Summary: I bought this center a while ago and it added so much more clarity to my system with my bic america left and rights, pioneer sub, and some special ass rca surrounds. when i hooked it up to my amp it was very loud, had to turn it down quite a ways to go with my left and right. voices and instruments like trumpets and sax sound very good. not crazy amazing speaker, but high quality and very good considering the price range.
Summary: Anyone that says this speaker sucks has a weak receiver or just didnt let it play for 100 hours like the maker says. This speaker is the same as the DV 64 just cut in half without the 2 passive woofers. Passive woofers dont carry any sound anyway they just move back and forth to equalize the pressure of the sealed cabinets of the DV64. These are the same speakers so if you have the dv 64 you can have 4 of them without taking up extra space with 4 whole towers.

Summary: I have two of these in two different home theater systems in different parts of the house. I find the sound quality amazing for the price. dialogue is crisp and clear. In one of the systems the center channel is fairly close to listeners and I was concerned about being able to achieve proper balance with L & R side tower speakers. There was no problem in achieving a balanced sound. I did it first by ear then with a sound pressure level meter.
Summary: Just purchased for 7.1 surround and listening to music in a medium sized living room. I'll admit that most of what I've owned in the past has been middle-of-the-road equipment, mainly HTIB systems. After 1 month of ownership I suppose they're broken in now...and all I can is WOW! I feel like that old 1980s ad, with the guy sitting in the chair, wearing shades with his hair blowing back!
