  • Summary: Sound "Absolutely kicking bass that’s deep and authoritative, crystalline midrange and treble, superb soundstaging, and outstanding microdynamics"; keeping them short of perfection are bass that lacks a bit of ultimate tightness and a touch of upper-midrange prominence. Features Pairs of tweeters, midrange and woofers per speaker, the latter two with metal cones; vinyl finish of the cabinets is impeccable -- "no evidence of a joint anywhere"; all drivers are shielded.
