Awesome Sound for the price

JB, Crutchfield
2 September 2015
  • Summary: These sound great and are way better than anything at this price point. I have them hooked up to a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable with Pro-Ject amp and pre amp. They are very well made and very solid. Way better sound and construction than anything at this price.
  • Pros: Solid construction. Excellent sound for the price. Sound way bigger than they are.
  • Cons: None. Buy them.

Very happy with the end result

RAL II, Amazon
27 April 2015
  • Summary: I was going back and forth between getting the Powered Speakers or Passive P4's. Decided on the P4's paired to a new Griffin Twenty Bluetooth Digital Audio Amplifier and Airport Express. This combo has worked out incredibly well. Very happy with the end result.

White AudioEngine P4

RVH, Crutchfield
14 April 2015
  • Summary: Speakers are great. I am playing them mostly at low and moderate volume with pleasing results. Very nice sound at high volume also, easily fill the 180' sq room they are in. Adding a subwoofer will of course add more depth, I plan to do this very soon.
  • Pros: Great range and sound reproduction even at low volume
  • Cons: For 'bookshelf speakers,' really no shortcomings

Even clarity without the harshness.

Dale Alan, Amazon
4 April 2015
  • Summary: These are simply the best speakers at this price range. The bamboo looks fantastic but isn't necessary for good sound quality so save the money unless you really want the aesthetic. For those who are looking for bass: These have excellent, even bass reproduction from 58 Hz and up.

Love these Speakers

VicDog "Vic-Dog", Amazon
20 March 2015
  • Summary: Very compact desktop speakers, The sound is very clear with good imaging. The bamboo looks very elegant and the sound is fairly rich but I did add a Sub which rounded this out nicely. Great set up for smaller listening area.

Audioengine P4 Speakers

Ian H, Crutchfield
23 February 2015
  • Summary: These speakers represent astonishing value for money. Crisp yet punchy sounding. From Hard Rock to Classical, these are the most versatile speakers on the market for the money.
  • Pros: Clear unobstructed sound delivering an undistorted range that belies the price.
  • Cons: Other than being slightly larger than the speakers they replaced - which is entirely my fault, absolutely nothing.

WAY better than one might expect for $250 speakers

Richard S. Wisner, Amazon
3 February 2015
  • Summary: These speakers are great. These speakers, paired with the NAD 7050 and a set of Mediabridge ULTRA Series Speaker Cables yield a great system for a very, very reasonable price, < $1300. I'm very happy with this system.

I'm happy to purchase these.

RL, Amazon
17 December 2014
  • Summary: Maybe a couple hundred or so hours playing - Although I don't have any other small speakers to compare these to, these are better than I expected in sound and looks. Takes such a small space - just what I was looking for, for my new added micro system. Seems good quality.
