Summary: What can I say that will sum up how amazing these speakers are. From the moment you unpackage them to see them wrapped in the microfiber drawstring bag to the outstanding build quality of the speakers and all included components,Outstanding just scratches the surface.Hook up was easy and from the moment they were turned on I knew I had purchased the right speakers for me.I have no idea why they have a sub output on the back, you will never need it, they have more than...
"they make everything better but cost a pretty penny."

Pros: great sound, both high and low freq. punchy bass the remote is handy. crank them hard and there is no distortion variable output is a good idea. they WILL make your music sound better right out of the box, and with the D1 it sounds even better!
Cons: the price they are a bit big for desktop speakers while the bass is punchy, it does need ramping up on the EQ to get a good balance. its worth getting the stands to go with, the tweeters are pretty directional the front light wont turn off!
Summary: It's mostly use for my DAC Receiver. I love to mute the speaker and use my headphones. Then turn up the sound and hear the strong bass in the speakers.A Cool factor is the sleep mode with the sleeping light.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Set Up, Great Sound Quality
Pros: 1.turns itself to sleep mode when no line signal present and on with signal. Power saving 2.enough power to rock midsize room with no receiver needed. 3. More of a component speaker sound than PC speaker sound.
Cons: Needs about 6" behind speaker for bass port.
Summary: Really my pros and cons say it all. A wonderful sounding speaker system. Crisp clear highs and worm lows, and depending on room and nature of what your using them for a sub is almost not needed. The only thing I don't like is not being able to chose left and right. This only sucks cause my right speaker is near the power outlet so I had to run a small extension cord to the other side of my desk. Really no big deal. I highly recommend these....
Pros: I love the crispness these speakers and the lows are not overpowering. In my office there is no need for a added sub.
Cons: Not being able to chose the left and right channel. The speaker with the amp is always the left.
Summary: THIS COMPANY'S ATTENTION TO DETAIL SHOWS IN EVERYTHING ABOUT IT EVEN THE PACKAGING IT WAS DOUBLE BOXED AND THEN INSIDE WAS REALLY THICK FOAM THAT KEPT THE SPEAKERS SUSPENDED FROM ANY DAMAGE NOT THAT CHEEP STYROFOAM OR CARDBOARD MATERIAL SPEAKERS ARE USUALLY PACKAGED WITH. THEN WRAPPED IN A CLOTH BAG ALSO USED TO CLEAN THE SPEAKERS AND FOR STORAGE, THEN THERE IS THE SOUND. I KNEW THAT THESE THINGS HAVE A BURN IN PERIOD OF 30-50HRS. OF USE BEFORE THEY OPEN UP.
Summary: Bought these primarily to take on outings and weekends to use with my iPhone. They were a hit a reunion in the country. Great sound and could equalize the bass to get even better bass response without distortion. However, at home I now use these as my computer speakers, several feet away from my computer, filling the room with sound. Nice flat sound curve.
