Excerpt: I confess I ordered this because it was on sale, but it was also to replace a mini-speaker I owned that had never worked well. This Bump mini-speaker is small and light (about the size of a squash ball), but the quality and volume of sound from this is amazing, all things considered. It is perfect for playing music quietly in a hotel room when I travel.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Use, Great Sound Quality
Excerpt: I got this for my Nexus 5 so I can use it as a small radio/music player while working without having ear buds on. It works ok, but not nearly loud enough and the cord is much too short so there is always tension on it so it will probably break off soon.
Excerpt: I purchased this to be able to listen to music in my room while traveling; it's just different than having headphones on. I wanted something smaller than a dock-type iPod/Phone speaker but still sound pretty good. I returned this one as the sound just wasn't up to snuff. Probably would be good for news/talk, but for music, didn't do it for me. I'll have to try others.
Excerpt: The "pop open and close" feature broke after about the 5 cycle. The bottom half now stays popped out and unprotected permanently. But, other than making the unit a little larger and it's ports less protected, it still works nice. I use it with my android phone to stream Pandora while at the beach or pool. Worth the price. Just barely.
