The best budget monitors around

jonnybos, Dooyoo

  • Excerpt: These monitors are abit excitable in the lower end frequencies and plugging up the bass ports overheats the units. There are no Eq settings on the back of the units, only a volume gain knob which is also very sensitive and is hard to be sure if you have set them both up evenly.

  • Excerpt: I have been working with audio editing for around 5 years now, when i started i began with a pair of basic edirol monitors, despite being classed as monitors these were actually just 'better sounding hi-fi speakers' so as i began to work on more serious projects and reading about how a studio works...

  • Excerpt: I bought these to use while practicing DJing, but to be honest they are the best all round method of "noise production" I have ever used. Superb as monitors with excellent sound quality, but just as good as powered speakers for small parties etc.
  • Pros: Superb sound reproduction, Build quality, Price, LOUD !
  • Cons: None really .  .  .  they are pretty heavy though

Volle Dröhnung am PC!

5 January 2007
  • Pros: klares, transparentes Klangbild
