Summary: I bought a pair of the PL-89's through ebay, okay, I felt like scum going throgh a Low Bid, free shipping offer, Amazon is a much better retailer, but hey I saved $90 and in this case it worked. These speakers are truly remarkable, although they are practically brand new, out of the (undamaged boxes) from the dreaded ASD, which one reviewer was nasty about. I am an owner of the FH-6T's and I really like them.
Summary: Sounds awesome when connected to a new amplifier. Only thing is make sure you measure your space as the sub would not fit under my end table so I out it in a corner, the center is 10" tall so need to wall mount my tv higher and the towers are very tall. Vendor was very helpful when contacted.
Summary: I was looking at the K brand of speakers vs these and I had to go to a very expensive setup before the other brand was better. think $5K I have owned my set for many years I am on my second Denon I expect to have these for a long long time. I am just buying two more rear now that I have a room that deserves a true 7.1.
Summary: This is my first time using BIC products but had hear great things about them which made me ordering them an easier decision. These where ordered for my brother's home theater room. At my house I have ran Polk, Yamaha, Klipsche and currently use Martin Logan. These really produce great sound in a all in one package. The sound reproduction is very accurate and the horn loaded drivers are very articulate without being harsh.
Summary: You cannot go wrong with these. Every time I listen to them I'm happy with purchase. Also I cannot street how much I like these for music. Movies and stuff they're good, music though, for whatever reason I think they're excellent. I cannot imagine anyone saying these are anything but great value.
