Summary: You cannot go wrong with BIC. I have a Media Room 7.2 system with two BIC Subwoofers (F12 and H100); four Polk Audio F/Xi A4; and an Infinity Primus PC351 Center Channel hooked up to an Onkyo TX-NR717. With my originally purchased Onkyo 7.1 surround speakers the PC351 replaced the center speaker and it was a definite improvement for voice, and each who heard the original Onkyo sound was impressed with their sound quality, so I am not knocking them at all.
Summary: I have had these speakers for about two months now and I am very pleased with the sound quality and build of the these speakers. I wanted speakers that would reproduce accurate sound with a wide frequency range that could immerse me in both music and movies. These speakers do just that. I now have four of these in my setup two for the front LR and two for the surround LR.
Don't go telling everyone you know about these excellent speakers! You'll drive the prices up!

Summary: These are simply excellent speakers. People compare them to Klipsch because of the horn tweeter, but that is a bad comparison in my opinion. Klipsch speakers sound harsh to some people. I would disagree to an extent, but they can be fatiguing for music. The difference between these and Klipsch speakers is that Klipsch use a horn with a compression driver.
Summary: Took a week to get here, free shipping. They are boxed fine; very protected. Once i busted them out i was amazed at the way they look. Although the luxurious looking goldish color that the drivers appear to be in every picture online varies from the rather rose-ish tone the drivers have. They are not small, but arent too wide and sit very nicely next to my wall mounted 50" smart TV. The SOUND: These babies are LOUD. I'm talking really damn loud.
Summary: I was skeptical at first buying these things. Now that I have them I am very pleased and glad I didn't spend as much as I was planning on for a similar product. I am no audiophile but I do enjoy what I listen to and these are crystal clear and do not have to turn it up nearly as much as I did with my previous speakers. My wife even noticed the clarity these brought. Very pleased! If you are considering them, go for it. Stop questioning yourself and do it.
Summary: I have the older Acoustech HT-75's that had the same color woofers as the Klipsch did at the time and have enjoyed them since I first got them in '05. The Acoustech towers have a very small footprint and sound nice with no distortion even at high volumes but in order to get adequate bass they must be mated to a subwoofer that has sufficient upper bass output as they were designed to work that way by Dr. Poh Hsu who served on the design team at BIC to create these babies.
amazing speakers! cheaper, probably better than most others
