Summary: The speaker is excellent and the sound is very good! It was a little larger than I was thinking so it didn't fit in my entertainment stand. It does have the option to be hung on the wall though. I would recommend this center speaker for a larger room.
Summary: THIS REPLACED A CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER THAT I BOUGHT WHEN I INITIALLY PUT TOGETHER MY HOME THEATER SYSTEM. THE ORIGINAL CENTER CHANNEL ONLY HAD 5 1/4" WOOFERS(2) AND A 1" TWEETER, AND THE DIALOGUE WAS MINIMAL ON MOVIES AND MUSIC, AND I JUST COULD'NT HEAR IT THAT WELL. ENTER THE PL-28, AND I NOW HAVE CRYSTAL CLEAR DIALOGUE ON MOVIES AND MUSIC, PLUS BASS THAT IS TRULY BEYOND BELIEF.
AWESOME CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER FOR PRICE AND PERFORMANCE!!!!!

Summary: I PURCHASED THIS CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER BECAUSE I JUST COULD NOT HEAR THE DIALOGUE VERY WELL WITH THE CENTER CHANNEL I CURRENTLY HAD IN MY 5.1 SYSTEM. I READ MANY REVIEWS ONLINE FROM NUMEROUS WEBSITES AND VENDORS BEFORE DECIDING ON PURCHASING THE PL-28. I WAS JUST BLOWN AWAY WHEN I HOOKED UP THIS NEW CENTER CHANNEL AND RAN THE SPEAKER SETUP ON MY YAMAHA AV RECEIVER! NOT ONLY COULD I HEAR THE DIALOGUE CLEARLY, BUT THIS THING PUTS OUT SOME KINDA BASS, AS WELL!!
Summary: Received my PL-28II today (2 days after ordering, Amazon Prime rocks!!) Connected it and played Duke Ellington & John Coltrane's "In A Sentimental Mood". Beautiful. I have not completed the room for movie viewing yet. Will update review when fully installed.
Summary: This can handle (rated) 225 watt/channel RMS. That is a lot of power for a center speaker. I hooked a Hafler DH-500 (only one channel) to this and gave it a work out. This amp is rated @ 250 watts/channel continuous and probably clips around 280. The speaker seemed to be fine up to 200 watts peak without distorting or bottoming out the cone movement.
