Excerpt: I have enjoyed this product since I got it. I have discovered many new uses. I used it as a receiver for stadium sized PA system and as a transmiter for an old turntable to wirelessly connect to portable Blutooth playing devices. Great way to play your old vinyl.
Pros: Compact, Easy To Set Up, Fast, Reliable connection
Excerpt: This is great for using my bluetooth headphones to listen to TV at night so I don't keep everyone up. This works perfectly for my need. It would be nice if I didn't have to turn it on everytime I wanted to use it.
Excerpt: As a wearer of both a cochlear implant and a Phonak hearing aide I needed help listening to the tv. A device that would work with both my devices for the tv was over $[$]. I obtained this device and it works well for me.Pros: low cost and ease of use.Cons: line of site only.If the tv is is louder than your listening device it appears that there is a delay. But if the tv is lower or on mute I have found no delay in the picture to the sound I hear.
Excerpt: Bought it to pair an IPhone to our home theatre system and was absolutely impressed with how quick it was to set up. Pairing the iPhone was almost instantaneous with a range that is pretty impressive for such a small unit. Highly Recommended.
Excerpt: I wanted a way to hook my "American Recorder PMIX-100 3-Source Personal Audio Mixer" (have three computers sound going into it, and one active output) to a pair of blue-tooth headphones. I had gropne tired of rolling over the wire for the previous headphones I used. It was very easy to setup/connect to the headphones - and also to reconnect when I power things on in morning.
Great Product, still working 5 years after purchase

Conclusion: Five years ago I was looking for a wireless headphone system. I hated the hiss of every FM frequency based systems I sampled so I thought I'd give Bluetooth a shot. I bought this exact transmitter model (it also will do receiver mode) as well as a set of Sony Bluetooth headphones (DR-BT22) as the same time. Superb performance no matter what I connect them to (PC's, TV's, iPod's) - as long as the device has a mini-stereo headset audio jack, this system delivers the goods.
Excerpt: Connected unit to my Sony TV on a trial basis. It worked just fine. I then connected it to my stereo system. I got one very loud pop. My system receiver is a Sony but over fifteen years old. Works very well but is not A2DP (advanced audio distribution profile). So I will put it away and some time in the future hook it up to something.

Conclusion: This product is a great solution for the hearing impaired which I am. I have Oticon hearing aids and their is an option you can buy which allows you to connect your hearing aids directly to a TV via blue tooth. The one the audiologist was selling from Oticon is $250. The one from Sony is about $60. So for 75% LESS, I am able to listen to the TV through my hearing aids rather than having to have the closed caption on.
