Summary: I use the mic for skype mostly during fps gaming. Works very well! I use a pair of sannheiser 280 pro studio headphones with it. I was pleased that I was able to easily add a good mic to my existing headphones that works well and is cheap.
Pros: Very cheap, Small, Long chord, Clips on easily to headphone chord, clear sound, good dynamic range especially for the price
Summary: I can not find a headset/microphone unit that I like, I prefer using my Shure E3c earphones for PC gaming/audio anyway. The Zalman ZM-MIC1 was nearly a perfect mic to pair with my preferred earphones.
Pros: Small, Unobtrusive, good mic for the price!!
Cons: Clip is useless if you're attaching to thin earbud/earphone cable
Summary: Well I haven't opened them yet but the mic is intact in its packaging. It looks great and it looks like it would work nice if I wanted to use it. It makes a great decoration on the stand by my front door and people ask me a lot "hey have you got a mic is that for gaming or are you a singer?
Summary: Nice, cheap mic that you can clip onto your shirt that works well. It is however, very quiet, even after turning all levels to the highest, so every time you put it on, you will have to adjust your shirt to make sure it can pick up your voice.
people constantly said it sounded like I had the mic jammed in my mouth

Summary: It was alright, but even when I turned down the microphone receiving, people constantly said it sounded like I had the mic jammed in my mouth. Mind you I had the mic fairly far away. But it was only $15 when I bought it so its not like I was expecting something great.
Summary: Pretty clear mic, better than the one on my headset. Fits on the default cord of a sennheiser 598. If you talk directly into it or hold it up, it's 2x as clear than when it's on the cord. I'll probably have to put it on a stick that comes out to deal with that :\
