Summary: I use the mic for skype mostly during fps gaming. Works very well! I use a pair of sannheiser 280 pro studio headphones with it. I was pleased that I was able to easily add a good mic to my existing headphones that works well and is cheap.
Pros: Very cheap, Small, Long chord, Clips on easily to headphone chord, clear sound, good dynamic range especially for the price
Summary: I can not find a headset/microphone unit that I like, I prefer using my Shure E3c earphones for PC gaming/audio anyway. The Zalman ZM-MIC1 was nearly a perfect mic to pair with my preferred earphones.
Pros: Small, Unobtrusive, good mic for the price!!
Cons: Clip is useless if you're attaching to thin earbud/earphone cable
Summary: Pretty clear mic, better than the one on my headset. Fits on the default cord of a sennheiser 598. If you talk directly into it or hold it up, it's 2x as clear than when it's on the cord. I'll probably have to put it on a stick that comes out to deal with that :\
Summary: After getting to use the mic for a bit I have to say i'm very, VERY impressed I mostly use it for playing games and skype calls with my buddies, They say it sounds just as good as their mics (Blue snowballs) My only problem with it is it is almost too sensitive, my friends can hear me swallowing...
not what I thought, but still found way to make it work.

Summary: Had to turn up the "Microphone Boost" property under the control panel to max, for it to be of any use. Clipping it to my headphones didn't work either, because unless you speak directly into the top, it didn't capture much.
