Amazing Doesn't Do Them Justice

Daniel R., Newegg
27 September 2013
  • Summary: I paired these headphones with an asus essence stx sound card. I strongly recommend doing this as it adds so much to the experience.
  • Pros: Clear perfect audio. I was hearing things in my games that I've never heard before. Sounds were so accurate and acute. Nothing was overly bass heavy and it handled 8 channels with ease.
  • Cons: They are a bit heavy and not the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn.

User Review

zazex, head-fi.org
22 June 2013
  • Summary: Been looking for some new closed headphones, with only three at the moment and for some time in fact.  Good ones, though: Sony MDR Z1000, Sony MDR 7520, and Senn Amperiors,   Sometimes you just need closed headphones.   The hot closed headphone right now, already a FOTM, is the Focal Spirit Pro.
  • Pros: Clarity, listenability, smoothness, soundstage
  • Cons: Fit/comfort
