  • Summary: This is on par with other headphones costs $300 or more! And it just cost [$]! They are very good sounding headphones that block out noise extremely well. Bass is rich and mids and highs are fine. It also comes with 0.25" plug adapter, which is handy for using on my receiver, which is also made by Yamaha. They are also fairly comfortable. Definitely worth the cost.

JIAXUN L., Newegg
17 April 2012
  • Pros: Yamaha is the world's largest manufacturer of musical instruments and their product is always very good. And this headphone EPH-50 is their new flagship product and it meets my quality expectation. Bass is good, mids and highs is awesome -- there's no need to use software equalizer to tune the sound, since the hardware provides an super rich sound! SUPERB

Felix P., Newegg
27 March 2012
  • Pros: These earbuds are absolutely magnificent. They provide magnificent sound and bass and are very very comfortable. Absolutely no complaints. I got them on sale a long time ago here on Newegg. For some reason, they were only $30 and I bought them out of pure whim. I am completely in love with them. Although $99 is a bit steep, I can guarantee you they are worth it.
  • Cons: The price is a little steep, but it's worth it.

  • Pros: -Though I am not an audiophile, the sound quality out of these 'buds is fantastic. Great bass and full, rich sound.
  • Cons: -The cord may be a little short for some people? I'd estimate 4'. Doesn't bother me really, perfect length to go from ears to pocket.
