Shattering Bass with Extreme Sound, So much POWER!!!!!!!
21 June 2013
Summary: This unit is definitely well worth the money. The bass that comes out of the woofer is unreal. I had to turn the woofer volume down because it was vibrating my windows and I was afraid they might shatter. The rear satellite speakers are truly amazing and it sounds like the action is right behind me, it is so crystal clear and dynamic. I never thought that this unit would be so good at the price I paid( $124.00 ) but I was wrong.
Awesome Home entertainment when combined with a Vizio 60 inch LED

Summary: I bought the VHT510 because I was purchasing a Vizio smart TV and wanted to complement the sound without clutter and breaking the bank. It was at 300 at Walmart so I came to my trusted eBay. I am happy that I did. I like the wireless sub which goes into my back room but still gives me enough bass for the entire house.
Summary: I've had this great system for a year and a half. Yesterday the LEDs stopped working. This seemed to be a frequent complaint from owners of this unit. I chatted with a Vizio rep and he told me to remove the power cord from the wall outlet, hold down the power button on the bar for 30 seconds and power it back up. The LEDs now work!
Great Performance for the Price and EASY INSTALLATION

Summary: If you prefer an easier set-up than the typical surround sound 5.1 or 7.1 with Front, Center, Rear speakers and Sub, then this system is for you. Soundbar with Sub and rear speakers sounds great. Very easy set-up. Granted for the REAL Hard Core sound folks, they will go with high end 7.1 sound systems that will sound better BUT.... cost much much more. Can use analog audio cord that comes with unit, or digital optical cable as mentioned in many reviews.
Summary: This was highly rated by Consumer Reports. I read a lot of reviews and was very concerned with the LED outage that many people complained about that would happen within a week of purchase. That was a major concern until I read that the system would still work without the LED. You would have to determine the sound level with your ears instead of your ears and eyes. That was fine with me. So far the LED works fine and I never look at it anyway.
Summary: Not a big reviewer guy, but after reading all the negative reviews on this item, figured it was my responsibility. The Vizio surround system is awesome. Amazing sound from a center bar, sub and satellites. I'm honestly amazed you can pay less than 500 bucks for something that plugs into your tv, no amp, no receiver, and it sounds this good. Watching the world series sounds like I'm sitting in the stands.
Summary: Here's my setup: 37" LG LCD TV, Xbox 360, and a Blu-Ray Player. I keep it simple and I don't need a lot. But I DO need a sound system! I was thinking about getting the pre-amped Bose Cinemate II system but it's $600. I decided to go with a sound bar system which I really didn't want to do because mostly they sound weak and I feel like I'm paying money for a product that only came about due to tinny sound/speakers from LCD TV's.
Summary: Well worth the money. Didn't have to run cables to the rear of room. Easy setup. Great product so far. Haven' t had a 5:1 system before and so glad I added this to my Samsung 59 INCH TV. I wall mounted soundbar below TV on my wall. I give it 5 stars!!
Summary: Many reviewers note the problem with the LEDs going out but don't go into too much depth about the importance of the LEDs, which made the decision to buy this product somewhat of a risk for me. Therefore, I would like to focus my review on that aspect of the product. I've had my 510 for about 2 weeks now and have mostly loved it. The LEDs work flawlessly for me (so far), but what are they really for? What's the big deal with whether or not the lights work? Okay...
