Summary: After getting the second one in from replacing the first one that didn't work.. It worked for 1 day and then the the volume indication lights on front of sound bar stopped working. Still not working after talking with vizio techs. Good sound, but next time I will buy new and not refurbished.
but new in a retail store and love it, but the refurbished unit was DOA 2 ...

Summary: This review is for the refurbished product only. I received it, but the subwoofer would not pair with the main soundbar. I returned the unit and received a quick replacement. The replacement had the same problem. I spent quite a while on the phone with support for both units and both times the support tech could not make the units work. Both units were completely unusable. I returned the second unit for a refund which was quickly processed.
Summary: I purchased this item from The Happy Store, an Amazon seller. The item was defective. I contacted the manufacturer, Vizio. They walked me through a couple of steps to try to correct the situation. At the end of the call, the rep said "the item is defective, we will send you a replacement.
Don't buy from Vizio - worst customer service I ever experienced in my life

Summary: I bought my Vizio VHT510 5.1-Channel Home Theater System via Amazon.com. The actual seller was GPCK INC, I think. As indicated in many product reviews, the LED volume indicators on the soundbar stopped working in Jun 2012. When I called Vizio, they told me that since I did not buy it from an authorized retailer, my warranty is invalid. Therefore, they did not help me. Even though I sent them my original invoice, they said that GPCK INC should not sell these items.
Summary: Subwoofer and satellite speakers never worked. Three calls to Vizio support were no help. With all the time I've wasted trying to get this to work, I could have bought a full priced Bose system. Sorry, have to run and repackage everything to send it back.
Summary: I liked the sound and appearance of the Vizio but the one problem everyone else that bought this seemed to have was the lighted sound bars. After 3 days it stopped working and Vizio technicians could not fix it. They offered to replace it But I had no doubt that the replacement would do the same time so I boxed it up and sent it back to Amazon. I also think Amazon has the best return policy of any online business. I give 5 stars to Amazon and 1 star to Vizio.
Summary: I read the reviews and just didn't listen. Many people complained about the lights that show volume, fade, bass, treble, etc would burn out. I think mine lasted about 2 weeks. The sound is OK, but the quality is poor, poor, poor. I can't believe Vizio has not fixed this.
