Worked well, warranty claim reasonably handled - failed again in a month

Bruce B., Newegg
18 April 2012
  • Summary: Replacement pair failed (one ear stopped working) a little over a month after being received. Not going to try a 2nd replacement as I don't like to keep disappointing my daughter.
  • Pros: Daughter loved em
  • Cons: Keep failing

Worked well, warranty claim reasonably handled

Bruce B., Newegg
2 March 2012
  • Summary: jLabs, for example, replaced another bud set without us needing to send the broken set back and hence we got a new pair within a week. This was another "one ear not working" problem and jLabs approach recognized that we still want a headset, even if not perfect, while we are waiting for the...
  • Pros: Worked with iPod Nano 5g, 2 year warranty, my daughter liked them well enough. Warranty response at just over 2 weeks (from when I shipped until I got it back).
  • Cons: One ear went out at about 6 months; V-Moda requested the earphones back insured and tracked (i.e., increased shipping costs for moi).

Terrible design

Anonymous, Newegg
2 February 2012
  • Summary: Sound quality definitely not worth the discomfort.
  • Pros: These are very good sounding headphones with superb bass.
  • Cons: Oh my geez terrible design! ALL AROUND. A previous review on here that I read said the ipod controls are heavy, pffft.. thought he was just picky and ignored it. Man was I wrong. Do not buy these headphones if you plan on even WALKING around with them in your ears, they will come out of place fro...

Awesome Earbuds

Derek M., Newegg
5 November 2011
  • Summary: I bought these earbuds on sale for $20. They are well worth that, and work great w/ my iPhone 4s. However, I did go to another store and got a pair of $5 earbuds for work, and the sound is pretty darn close.
  • Pros: The sound quality is outstanding. I've read past posts about issues with bass, but if you have "Sail" in your iTunes library, give it a listen and see what you think. If you travel, and don't want to hear that baby next to you, or notice those pesky snakes on your plane... These are the earbuds f...
  • Cons: I took these to work to listen to my iTunes playlist and internet radio while doing some remote work. The issue that I found, is that when folks walk up to ask a question, you are so into the music, you can't hear them. No, honestly, don't buy these earbuds on the premise that you are going to us...

Cewl

David R., Newegg
1 November 2011
  • Summary: I went to check the mailbox like an hour ago, and my car's renewed registration was there waiting for me.
  • Pros: Very clear audio. Bass doesn't overpower. Twenty dollars. I've had these for over 2 months, no problems.
  • Cons: The jagged design can scratch your ear sometimes.

Overpriced earbuds

Weston P., Newegg
23 September 2011
  • Pros: Sound quality is good despite a weak bass response. Silicon and rubber earpiece fittings are good, covering a large variety of sizes. The over-the-ear fitting for the cable is extremely useful.
  • Cons: I was expecting much better sound quality for what I paid for these ear buds. Bass response is rather poor, with other headphones like Skullcandy, MeElectronics M9, and even Koss The Plug having much better bass response. Even with an equalizer, these ear buds don't have good bass response. Turn ...

Great durable and cool

Anonymous, Newegg
17 September 2011
  • Summary: I'm BUMMED I just missed getting another pair!
  • Pros: These little rockers make my day. The chrome pieces are interesting and give the headphones a "solid" feel. The sound is terrific, plenty of cord to have my iphone in deep pockets, and durable.
  • Cons: The cord seems a little thin. I am always worried I'll pull them apart...but they are strong!

Very Good Headphones

Sergio L., Newegg
13 September 2011
  • Summary: Remote and microphone work great, very well constructed, metal casing, chrome color look nice, not tangled cables.
  • Pros: Nice Bass, Great Clear Sound, excellent price at the moment of Purchase 30% of the MRSP price
  • Cons: If you use the small ear tips, the border of the metal casing will be uncomfortable on the ear
