Summary: Final Thoughts
Now that I am using the Vibrato Remote earphones I can’t imagine using anything else. And it is not just because of the sound quality, but lets talk about that first. Compared to using the normal earphones that come with an iPhone the Vibrato Remote earphones sound simply amazing. The feeling you get when listening to music can only be described at total immersion.
Pros: – Quality made, – Amazing and immersive sound, – Kevlarcoated cables, – 24K goldplated connector, – Earhooks included
Conclusion: The Vibrato Remote earphones are currently available for $129.99 at on V-MODA’s online shop . Should you splurge? That’s tough. In our opinion, while the Vibratos are hands down one of the best pairs of earphones to look at, their sound isn’t quite “$130″ quality if you know what we mean. Of course when you add in the mic/phone/audio control functionality you do get closer to reaching what we’d consider a fair price ($99).
Excerpt: The new Remix Remote Headphones (a href=”http://shop.v-moda.com/p-117-remix-remote.aspx”>$100) by V-MODA bring two much needed features to their already popular headphone line-up. Volume & play/pause controls and an omnidirectional microphone. Simple, but convenient features if you use your iPhone or iPod on the go, especially when rummaging in your pocket is not only inconvenient and puts you at risk of embarrassing yourself in front of someone of the fairer sex.
Conclusion: Y es I do. I’ve spent most of my time talking about the neat extras like the cable and the microphone, but they do have good sound which is what you want ear buds for in the first place. For the kind of microphone it is, the microphone is just fine and a great asset to anyone who receives frequent calls. It is very nice to push one button that stops the music and answers the phone. The cable is quite wonderful. It really is.
Pros: Good quality sound, built in microphone with button for instant phone call answering, and phone cables that won’t tangle.

V-Moda Remix Remote Headphones for iPhone and iPad Review
8 November 2010
Excerpt: V-Moda, well known for their stylish in-ear headphones, came out with another low-profile beauty called the Remix Remote . According to the V-Moda, you “Don’t just hear the music, feel it.” Let’s check it out and see if this holds true.
Conclusion: So where do we stand? The V-Moda Remix Remotes definitely have style. You can certainly pull double duty with them — listening to music and wearing them as a fashion statement. In regards to the actual music listening another story emerges. If you’re new to the whole scene of $20+ headphones and have never donned anything but those typical white iPod headphones in your life, the V-Modas are a huge step up. And for that person, they’re great.
Excerpt: If you shop based on feature charts and price points and pick up V-Moda’s Remix Remote as a result, you’ll stick ‘em in your ears and think “hey, not too shabby!” They delivered bright performances with acoustic tracks and classical music played at mid volume, and middling performances with more demanding recordings at low to medium volume. As we quickly discovered, however, they just can’t handle any genre featuring bass and drums at high volume.
Pros: Bright sound; in-line mic.
Cons: No thump nor bump in the bass; doesn't like to play at "11;" crappy in-line controls.
