Summary: The "brutal levels" of bass are not present on these headphones. The slight bass boost is where it should be, in the low basses. It gives bass a rich texture that does not overpower any other frequencies. That being said, do not expect these headphones to be perfect studio monitors.
Pros: Build quality, soundstage, comfort, customer support, customizability, so on...
Cons: A little tight at first, but goes away with burn-in/headband stretching.
Summary: Great pair of headphones! You have to use them at loud volume for a couple hours to get into the true quality but that's what they were designed to do. Use them for general listening and for DJ'ing and they are great all around. Great but and would definitely recommend!
Summary: Fantastic set of headphones, great sound and amazing build quality. Got these for the girlfriend at Christmas and she absolutely loves them, never goes anywhere without them. I can't really think of any disadvantages of these headphones.
