Excerpt: I have had these headphones for about a years now and they are great! Urbanears is a small Swedish company that aims to make headphones that are stylish and their new Zinken headphones are not only stylish, but also say that it has professional sound quality. The tagline of these headphones of course is "Made by Dj's for Dj's". Sound Quality- These headphones are superb for house and techno music because the bass is just amazing.
Excerpt: I'm no audiophile but these sound great. They are comfortable, stylish and seem well made. One thing to note the color is not quite as bright as the photo on B&H. Still indigo but maybe a little darker or just less hue.
Summary: For the price, they're far better than anything else I tried. The sound quality is good, not studio excellent, but neither is the price. Looks like a really solid build and the interchangeable cable is really great, for ipod and DJ-ing. I kinda wished I'd had the time to wait to get a different colour, as the shade of grey is a bit lighter than I would have liked, but is pretty true to the picture so only me to blame!!!
Summary: These are great headphones, with only one flaw, for me at least. I find them a bit tight, even on the maximum adjustment. However, this does help to reduce outside noise which is partly why I wear them at work (even when not listening to music). I'm used to using in-ear earphones with my phone, and these provide a vastly better sound.
Summary: Positives: 1- The dual ended plug for switching between the larger quarter inch output and the smaller standard 3.5mm audio jack is genius! 2- Look very stylish and the price is affordable. Negatives: 1- Although the sound quality is decent and more than enough for a noisy area (i.e. a club) you don't want to monitor sound with these headphones. 2- There is no carrying pouch. Conclusion: Excellent choice for DJs however not good enough for producing.
Summary: I just bought these because i was looking for a pair of DJ headphones to replace the 10 year old Sony's. I live in a technically challenged area of the world so i was a bit surprised to see these at the local "Mall". Since i saw/read the review on Cnet (U.S.) i decided to check them out and was pleasantly surprised by the sound. I checked these out on a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with the Power Amp app (full version).
Pros: Good sound and comfort
Cons: Flat color. Remote is a little too high when the 6.3 jack is plugged into the headphones
Summary: Maybe the purists won't like them, but I've found the sound quality pretty good. Agree to some extent on this review's notes on the high end - but good enough for me (maybe this depends on the quality of the source?). Nice soundstage on some tracks & I sometimes find myself looking around to see where the sound is coming from. Other tracks can sound a bit… flat.
Summary: Die Köpfhörer haben einen guten Tragekomfort und wirken sehr Stabil. Nur Schade, dass das Kabel nicht wie bei den Plattan mit stoffumantelt sind, sondern nur wie üblich mit Kunsstoff. Vom Klang her auch top. Das einzige was mir nur auffällt ist wieder, wie neuerdings bei fast allen "Lautsprechern", die Bassüberbetonung.
