  • Summary: The Urbanears Zinken is both gorgeous and purposeful. The maker addressed most of the caveats that users faced when using a headphone; from the build quality down to the versatility that the TurnCable brings to the table.

Review of Urbanears Zinken Headphones

Testfreaks blog
3 November 2012
  • Conclusion: The removable cord is a great feature, eliminating the concern about cord damage. The dual ends allow the Zinken to work with most any audio playback device without the need of an adapter; simply reverse the cord. While targeting the DJ market, the Zinken make great all-purpose headphones with their excellent sound isolation and comfort. The inline controller allows them to be easily used with an Android Phone or iPhone as well.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Simple design, Includes inline remote, Solidly constructed, Reversible TurnCable, Can daisy chain headphones
  • Cons: Expensive

Urbanears Zinken

CNET
9 October 2012
  • Summary: The Urbanear Zinkens offer strong bass, a stylish design and some handy DJ-friendly features, but they fail to impress with the overall sound quality so it's hard to justify the £120 asking price.
  • Cons: Unimpressive overall sound quality; build quality issues.

  • Summary: We started the review with a question about the worth of the Zinken: Does it justify its asking price of Php 7,950? A resounding yes! It’s comfortable to use, sounds great and has a very  aesthetically pleasing and functional design. I dare say this is the best set of cans that Urbanears has produced.

Test Urbanears Zinken

Generation mp3
22 June 2014
