Nice headphones

andrew t., Newegg
23 December 2014
  • Summary: After wearing them more and more, the discomfort is gone, I guess my ears just had to adjust the these bad boys. Highly recommended!
  • Pros: Sound quality is very good, bass is deep and clean, midrange and highs are clear and overall sound is encompassing and immersive. Build quality seems very good (thanks you crafty Swedes!), I like the cord material, the phone control button works on my android (kitkat) to play/pause and answer/end call. The curious earpieces fit remarkably well, I hardly ever have to adjust them, good for runs too.
  • Cons: While the earpiece fits very well, I initially had some discomfort after an hour or 2 of wearing them, not in my ear canal, but the surrounding area where these earpieces fit. Also they protrude somewhat, so lying down head sideways on a pillow will knock them out of your ear.

  • Excerpt: Shopping on the website was much easier than making a trip to a store. It took less than 10 minutes and BAM it was all done. The packages arrived quickly when promised.

  • Excerpt: These were reviewed on Wire Cutte------------ lost my first pair that's why I bought a second. But they're excellent, very tangle free with the material they use. And they stay in my ear. And they're pretty cheap at B&H.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Value, Stylish

Great Sound While They Last - Can We Say More of Life?

Michael H., Newegg
13 June 2014
  • Summary: If you want great sound for a short period of time, at a low price, they are perfect. If you want something that lasts, look elsewhere.
  • Pros: Great sound and handy cord management system. Outstanding bass and clear highs, midranges not muddled. Very comfortable - most comfortable earbuds I've ever worn.
  • Cons: Lasted less than 8 weeks, no warranty support from Newegg or from Mfg. Warranty says 1 year return to seller. Purchased from Newegg's store on another site . Good Luck!

Great value headphones

Mike, B&H Photo
5 April 2014
  • Excerpt: Excellent affordable in-ear headphones. Sound may be a bit too bassy but with some tweaks from your device, it can sound really great. The cloth wrapped wires are fantastic as they prevent tangling. Great set of headphones for the money.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish

URBANEARS Kransen Earbuds

Shifty, REI
22 January 2014
  • Summary: These fit nicely and stay put. The sound is great and the bass is better than I expected. A very smart design that keeps tangling to a minimum. Ruggedly construted. *The color of the product REI has provided seems a bit off to my eyes. They're closer to pink than they are red. See attached image.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Sound, Stylish
  • Cons: Color

No bass whatsoever.

S. Rashid, Amazon
1 December 2014
  • Summary: I had the urban ears bagis before these and they were way better. The headphones lack bass so badly it's not even a joke. You can push them in with your fingers and the bass becomes acceptable. The sound quality is on par with the Apple EarPods. The headphones sit in snug but they hurt after a while because they have sharp edges. I don't know it must be my ears and the reviews you find on the web are very misleading.

Amazing design & function, good sound and lovely value for money

James, Amazon
24 November 2014
  • Summary: The sound quality is clear but lacking bass presence. They are ideal with everything except bass-heavy tracks. As an Urbanears product however this is rectified by two things - price and design. You're getting a good quality product for the price point, although the Panasonic RP TCM125 is a cheaper and with more balanced sound. Design-wise however these cannot be beat by any other company.
