Awesome Headphones

  • Excerpt: (4.5 STARS) I've had quite a few of Ultrasones, which include the HFI 580, HFI 2400, PRO 900 and the PRO 750. I prefer the 750 over all of these. They have a very balanced sound with amazing tight bass and an edge in the highs. Mids are very forward for an Ultrasone, though I find the highs to be slightly too aggressive and overbearing at times, though it's not as bad as most people say they are.
  • Pros: Accessories, Comfortable, Detachable Cable, Durable, Extremely Detailed, Great soundstage, Look Great, Tight And Punchy Bass, Very Easy To Drive
  • Cons: Cups Can Get Scratched, Short Straight Cable, Treble-heavy Sometimes

Nice Cans!

  • Excerpt: After trashing another pair of sony 7506s, I decided to try something different. After researching various reviews from Location Sound Recordists, I decided to invest in a pair of Ultra Sones. The sound is incredible. No "false or added" base like the Sonys. What you hear is what is being recorded... the truth! Earpads are a little tight, but should break in with more use. Weight is minimal.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Lightweight

  • Excerpt: Headphones have fairly flat frequency response. Allows for much clearer low frequency response in mixes and also allows you to pin-point panning in the stereo spectrum. Not super compact, but comfortable and durable.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Durable, Easy To Use, Versatile
  • Cons: Bulky/Heavy

Worthy choice for such money

  • Excerpt: I am engaged in video installation – many hours daily I spend in ear-phones. Also I listen to music in formats FLAC and WAV. Took PRO 750 instead of old Technics RP-F300. Ultrasone surpasses them almost in all indicators. Pure sound, wide stereobase, the big dimensions of sounding, good soft average basses. There is no bottom bass a little. The only thing in what is better Technics – they aren't felt at all on a head, and in Ultrasone the head in some hours is tired.

User Review

  • Summary: As the Ultrasone Pro 750 arrived, I really wanted to like them.  After all, these headphones embody just about everything I've claimed to like in the past few months of acquisition and experimentation with various headphones.  They have a very balanced sound signature, they are detailed, and bright rather than dark.  I was waiting for that Ultrasone bass that I kept hearing about, and I was prepared to give them enough time to really get a sense of them.
  • Pros: razor-sharp clarity, bright, balanced sound signature, comfort, packaging and accessories
  • Cons: really, REALLY bright; expensive, can be quite harsh, heavily source and amp dependent

Wer analytisch hören will / muss, ist z.B.
