Great value

  • Excerpt: Music sounds great with these. They are a little heavy, but I knew that when I bought them. What I did not know was that they make great ear warmers. This is good for winter, but may not be so good in summer. I'm quite happy with them.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Good Value, Great Sound
  • Cons: Ears Can Get Hot

They blew me away!

19 December 2012
  • Excerpt: I was able to audition a few models in the [$]range prior to purchasing these. Because of the good reviews that I read and the excellent pricing ([$]), I decided to order these and sell them if they were not up to my expectations. Let me just say that I was very impressed.
  • Pros: Amazing Soundstage, Durable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound
  • Cons: A bit heavy

Great cans for starting audiophiles

Black Rain, B&H Photo
25 January 2012
  • Excerpt: They do sound amazing for the price ! A bit recessed mids, but great highs (a little sibilant and maybe too much for some) and amazing warm bass not too boomy. They perform very well in the mid-bass area (drum and bass, edm, trance..
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Durable, Good Value, Great bass, Great Sound, Lightweight, Somewhat foldable
  • Cons: Long Burnin Period, Med-Hi Clamp Force, No detachable wire, S-Logic Not for everyone, Too much Treble for some

Superior sound for the price

  • Pros: Clear and forward mids, Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound, Lot of punch and dynamics, Stylish
  • Cons: Cord too long

Not perfect, but I like them

Steve, B&H Photo
6 December 2011
  • Excerpt: I purchased the HFI-580 headphones because my wife complained about "leakage" from my open headphones. I generally use headphones connected to my iPods in bed or while at work. My other set of "premium" headphones are AKG K701's.
  • Pros: Good Bass, Great Sound, Low ambient noise
  • Cons: Uncomfortable

Comfy with Great Sound

24 June 2011
  • Excerpt: For [$] I don't have any buyer's remorse. I was actually expecting more bass than they deliver because of other reviews, but I feel like the levels are right. I use them everyday and unlike other reviews said they don't get uncomfortable from tightness. I usually listen to rock/hip-hop/folk/indie.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Sound
  • Cons: No noise cancelling

High Fidelity without the flat response

Klane-o, B&H Photo

  • Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Good Value, Great Sound
