Excerpt: I use my headphones for DJing and listening to music. They have great stereo imaging and sound. Not good for studio use because of the enhanced bass and high frequencies. These are my favorite headphones for easy listening. They are sturdy but very comfortable for extended wear.
Pros: Excellent Sound, Professional Features, Quality
Excerpt: I use it to listen to music (phone and computer). Great for crisp quality sounds and blocking out most outside noise. Noise cancellation would be a great feature, but not included. If you're wondering, it also has 3.5mm gold plugs in addition to the 6.3mm plugs.
Excerpt: I bought these after reviewing products for a few hours. My main purpose was to be able to listen to music and experiment with ableton without disturbing my wife and child. I liked the surround sound effect, reduced volume need, and shielding from the magnets. This is my first pair of "cans" but I love them. The bass isn't too over the top, which gives a more accurate feeling.
Excerpt: I am very pleased with my purchase of Ultrasone's DJ1 Pro Stereo headphones. I use my DJ1's as performance and studio headphones for my project in electronic music production/djing. The DJ1 model provides great clarity and definition through all frequencies, particularly in the low-end, which is invaluable if I am mixing at home without a subwoofer.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Use, GREAT VALUE, Professional Features, Reliable, Versatile, Very clear sound
Excerpt: These headphones are just solid. I bought my first pair in 2005, and after beating the **** out of them by throwing them into backpacks, not putting them into a protective case, and frequently bending and dropping them, they lasted 6 years before it finally started to come apart. I was more than happy to buy the same headphones to replace them if they can withstand that kind of abuse. The sound quality is solid too.
Pros: Consistent, Durable, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound
Excerpt: I took 2 weeks to pick a pair of new headphones. I read multiple reviews an decided to go with the DJ1's. These are rated at 32ohms which makes these very good to use on portable devices(no amp needed), yet can handle copious power. The delivery was prompt and product exactly as advertised. If your on the fence about these- I say go for it!
Pros: Consistent, Excellent Sound, Professional Features
Excerpt: Previously I had the Dj1's and loved the sound quality. After 3 years the band where the screws are broke and I was disappointed since they still worked and taped them back together, but could only live like that so long. So I was in the market for a new pair, but I saw the Dj1 pros for a good price on BH and decided to give it a go. I really like the fit and appearance of the pros compared to the reg Dj 1's, but find the case in which they come a bit bulky.
Pros: Comfortable fit, Excellent Sound, Quality Construction
