Summary: I've gone through 2 Tritton headsets, 1 cheaply made $15 nameless brand from Best Buy, and $70 Turtle Beach headset, and I've had the same problems with most after a few months of use (not even a year): 1.
Summary: With the release of the xbox one many headsets have been lowered in price but this headset is still higher priced than it should be. The turtle beach X-rays are the exact same thing as these except about $80 cheaper if you really want to buy these headsets go with the X-rays don't go with these they...
Summary: Coming from the X41s, I had high expectations of the XP400s. -Pros- Surround processing is very accurate and detailed. Bluetooth wireless chat. New Dual-band radio eliminates nearly all interference for my setup. -Cons- Chat. Others complain it sounds like I'm talking through a coffee can.

Summary: I had some difficulty setting this up and there is NO way to call Turtle Beach. the booklet said to check the batteries, but there are no batteries. Customer Service needs a lot of improvement. Still can't use the headset.
Summary: I had it for about 7 months before it broke at the plates just above the speakers but below the sliders. This is a common break and it does not matter if you were genital or not. It is a design flaw. I was pissed when mine cracked and no longer fitted my head properly.
Summary: Did they meet my expectations? Yes and no. I was excited about the wireless. Great distance and freedom. Inwas underwhelmed by the bass. I has the DX12's and was hoping the DX400's would sound as good. They do have great surround sound, I enjoyed the powerful bass of my DX12's.
Summary: The mic is really confusing to work with but after a while I was able to understand how it works. They're really comfortable and I love that they're wireless. But the voice quality is pretty bad. I get people telling me all the time how bad it is. Really bothers me.
Summary: Generally works great, with a couple quirks: 1) From what I can tell, the only way to use the microphone is in Bluetooth mode. So if you want to use the microphone with your PC you'll need a Bluetooth dongle for your PC in addition to the WiFi adapter.
