Unusable...crackles louder than the volume and no sound on the left ear cup

Kitten Lyric, Amazon
18 January 2015
  • Summary: I got the headset and the cords were all wrapped around the headset and all knotted up. I untangled them and that took time as it has a very long cord which I was very happy to see. I then plugged it in and there was no sound on the left side and the right side was static. I thought maybe it had to be configured. I did configure and sound was very low and the crackle on the right side was louder than the volume could be.

  • Summary: Ordered these cause the we're on sale...but the microphone was damaged...and problematic. When I used the mic it was super staticy and my voice was non recognizable. I returned them promptly for a full refund. I looked for another pair and my local Wal-Mart they informed me there wouldn't be any coming in for 3 weeks. Decided to order a more superior brand of quality and performance. Bought these Kingston HyperX Cloud. SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY!

  • Summary: My husband bought me this set and it is my third set of Turtle Beach Headsets. My first two sets were for my Xbox 360. First the positive; When they work the sound quality is excellent. By far the Turtle beach has the best sound and voice quality in my price range. $40-$60. I was warned that this style of TB Headset had a weakness in the plastic part of the headband. And true to the warning, 9 months with the first set, and 11 months with the second.

  • Summary: Extremely small and uncomfortable. Both my speakers had crackling from day one, and the pre-amp never worked. Returned them for the Logitech G430 and couldn't be happier.

*EDIT: Do not buy this headset.

  • Summary: When I'm home gaming, I more often than not have my glasses on instead of contacts in, & finding a headset that works comfortably is extremely difficult for me. I've been through 4 headsets in the last 6 months -& this is finally my keeper! Sound is amazing & people on my YouTube channel are really happy with the voice quality as well. Also the cord is crazy long!

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PS4 as advertised

sami.silva1991, Amazon
17 October 2014
  • Summary: The PX22 is advertised as being compatible with PlayStation 4 and it is NOT. Almost any pair of headphones can be plugged into the controller on the PS4 and will work well enough, if they have a mic you can chat and adjust the volume of both the game and chat in the settings though. I purchased the PX22's based on the ability to adjust the volume of the game and chat and being able to control it all from the headset itself. YOU CANNOT.

Waste of Money

SR27, Amazon
27 September 2014
  • Summary: The headset works fine for around 2-3 months then starts to crack on the sides and eventually broke on both sides. I bought a replacement (headset only) of around $60 in thinking that it was a defective product. Much to my dismay, the headset again started to crack on both sides and now the mic randomly stopped working. This will definitely be the last time I purchase this headset. Hopefully, all TB's headsets are not like this.
