  • Summary: My husband bought me this set and it is my third set of Turtle Beach Headsets. My first two sets were for my Xbox 360. First the positive; When they work the sound quality is excellent. By far the Turtle beach has the best sound and voice quality in my price range. $40-$60. I was warned that this style of TB Headset had a weakness in the plastic part of the headband. And true to the warning, 9 months with the first set, and 11 months with the second.

Get the Logitech G430 instead

Stephen Scott, Amazon

  • Summary: Extremely small and uncomfortable. Both my speakers had crackling from day one, and the pre-amp never worked. Returned them for the Logitech G430 and couldn't be happier.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PS4 as advertised

sami.silva1991, Amazon
17 October 2014
  • Summary: The PX22 is advertised as being compatible with PlayStation 4 and it is NOT. Almost any pair of headphones can be plugged into the controller on the PS4 and will work well enough, if they have a mic you can chat and adjust the volume of both the game and chat in the settings though. I purchased the PX22's based on the ability to adjust the volume of the game and chat and being able to control it all from the headset itself. YOU CANNOT.

Waste of Money

SR27, Amazon
27 September 2014
  • Summary: The headset works fine for around 2-3 months then starts to crack on the sides and eventually broke on both sides. I bought a replacement (headset only) of around $60 in thinking that it was a defective product. Much to my dismay, the headset again started to crack on both sides and now the mic randomly stopped working. This will definitely be the last time I purchase this headset. Hopefully, all TB's headsets are not like this.

Headband breaks within 6 months - Junk

Xyth, Amazon
12 September 2014
  • Summary: Both sides of the earbands cracked and broke free after 6 months of light use. Too bad, nice sets otherwise. Apparently this is a common issue. I will not be buying Turtle beach headsets in the future, nor should you.

it had very good reviews that is why my son wanted it

Joseph A. Oldewurtel, Amazon
10 September 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this for my son, it had very good reviews that is why my son wanted it. It only lasted about 5 weeks, and my son did not abuse it. It was delivered August 4th, 2014 and the plastic band holding the earpiece in place broke on September 10th, 2014. The window to return it naturally expired September 4, 2014.

Unfortunately, another turtle beach let down.

Mark H., Amazon
13 June 2014
  • Summary: Gotta first start off by saying, that i absolutely love the sound quality of all turtle beach headsets ive used. But thats where the quality ends, at least for me. Ive had 2 sets of x11 and of the right ear peices, both have broken on me. (The part of the headset between the earpeice and the headband, the tiny peice of plastic that holds them together) So i figured that the x12might have fixed this problem. And literaly the same thing happend once again.
