Turtle Beach Ear Force X32 Headset Review

17 April 2014
  • Summary: The X32 headset performed better than I had hoped. For it being only stereo it really stood up to the task of delivering good quality sound and comfort to boot. Yes, there were some things we didn't like but half of it was overcomeable like the battery type and pairing issues. Finding some rechargeable batteries and getting the right instructions go a long way to making this a better product.
  • Pros: Installation:, Design:, Sound:, DSS2:
  • Cons: Battery:, Buzzing:, Pairing:, Chat Boost:

Turtle Beach Ear Force X32 Review

2 May 2012
  • Excerpt: Turtle Beach pleasantly surprised us with its solid-sounding X12 wired gaming headset . Its audio quality surpassed our expectations and compared nicely against like-priced audio-only headphones. That got us wondering: Could Turtle Beach provide an equally satisfying sound experience in a wireless stereo headset? We contacted Turtle Beach and in no time at all we had a pair of the Ear Force X32 sitting at our desk.
  • Pros: Terrific sound quality, Handy auxiliary input, Four EQ presets, Comfortable for long-term use, Auto-off conserves battery life
  • Cons: Persistent buzz in left channel, Limited range, finicky transmitter, Spatial expander effect is distracting

Turtle Beach X32 Wireless Xbox 360 Headset Review (XBOX)

1 April 2007
  • Excerpt: Affordable wireless headset that delivers in bucket loads I am just going to come right out and say it. I love this headset. It has a few flaws, but it has just replaced my Steelseries 7XB as my default Xbox headset. Right, now that is out of the way, let’s talk about the headset a little. Out of the box, the X32 looks ready for the job. Mostly black, with some green detailing, it looks good.
  • Pros: Well prices, great audio, great features
  • Cons: Hum in left ear is a bit annoying!
