Almost 100%

Evan Wanous, Amazon
26 July 2014
  • Summary: The only downside of the headphones is the ear piece (not the foam padding, the speaker part) touches my ear and after a couple of hours, begins to hurt my ears.

Be ready for this to break into many pieces.

Earnest Strong, Amazon
18 July 2014
  • Summary: Within 2 months the cheap plastic headband had started to break on one side and then within the next month this piece of crap had completely separated into 2 distinct pieces. Take my advice and do not buy this unless you are willing to severely overpay for a piece of trash product. Oh it did sound great when it was in one piece but that doesn't mean anything if it becomes a piece of trash within months of buying it!

WARNING: Things you should know.

Rocksteady, Amazon
21 June 2014
  • Summary: I wanted to write this as a warning to others and will give my honest and unbiased opinion. Pros: 1. The mic is very clear (no static). Also it's detachable which is nice. 2. Comfort is 50/50ish. The ear cuffs fit nicely around the ears and not on them and the materials used are nice, however... (refer to Cons #5) Cons: 1. The audio quality has been greatly over hyped and is quite poor in my opinion. 2.

Finally a headset that fits

Duncan Dollinger, Amazon
31 May 2014
  • Summary: The audio quality on these is great. They do require a bit of a learning curve if one wants to play around with some of their higher functions, however this is more of a pro than a con as it provides flexibility. The headset fits me well, and I have a larger than average head. I do wear them on the maximum size however, so if you have a huge head (you probably know who you are) you may wish to consider trying one before you buy.

Headset is garbage

Joseph Surico, Amazon
29 May 2014
  • Summary: The sound quality is very poor. When lots of sound is playing you get a kind of audio strobe effect. You also get it with background sound like music or rain. At fist I thought it was an issue with my PC, but I tried the headset on another PC with a completely different hardware and software setup, same issue. If you crank up the sound the issue isn't as bad,but still exists. Turtle Beach sent me a replacement but the issue remains.

Horrible product in the end

Cindy "Cindy", Amazon
24 May 2014
  • Summary: While the quality is very nice the ear cups are not comfortable at all. At times the headphones randomly stop working, leading you to log out of game, unplug the USB and replug it in. Mic is a tad annoying, though it does sound good to other folks in Teamspeak. It is not easy to insert the mic back into the jack 'while' wearing the headphones. Would have preferred the mic to adjust up or down for this.

DO NOT BUY FOR XBOX ONE

Jason Cooke, Amazon
16 May 2014
  • Summary: I bought this because Turtle Beach said it would work for xbox one. They fail to mention that its only for sound, you have to use chat through Kinect, but that didn't even work..... Now Micro Soft really has to pick up the pace and stop making things so complicated. The PS4 can take any headset. I tried the XO seven's that they made just for xbox one, but there not loud enough, and there is no bass , treble adjustment ,ECT...

Lives up to the genre, but doesn't overly impress

Phoj, Amazon
7 May 2014
  • Summary: I like this headset. This is my 4th headset that could be easily defined as for gaming. I have a Triton 720, a Logitech G35, and another Turtle Beach; the XP510. To me, all these headsets are exceptional. The sound is great considering it's from a headset. I do have a Polk surround sound system that cost 2-3K, but I can't really compare any headset to that. This headset in particular is my second favorite, after my other Turtle Beach, but not by far.

Best Sound I've Ever Heard!

Leonardo DeLima, Amazon
29 April 2014
  • Summary: I was skeptical at first, and the set up was a bit tricky. However, once everything was properly connected, this became the only headset I use! Whether for gaming, music, movies, or phone calls! You can't go wrong with Turtle Beach.
