Turtle Beach Earforce XLC
1 December 2011
Summary: I just recently received my XLC headset, and honestly I was a little bit worried just because of reading all the "bad" reviews by customers. First, my old school tv doesn't have a headphone jack so I had to use the splitter, this does take away from the sound, but in my opinion it's the perfect...
Good binaural headset, IF your TV has a headphone jack.

Summary: This is a high-quality binaural headset at a decent price. The problem comes if your TV set for whatever reason does not have a headphone jack built in (as with mine). In that case you'll need to use the RCA splitter cable that comes packaged with the headset, and you'll only be able to adjust the...
Summary: So, I purchased these today from BestBuy(more expensive, but faster return) with the plan on testing them out. I just purchased a 40" tv that does has 2 headphone outputs and a Toslink optical out, and I thought that these would be the best starting place to test headphones on.
Summary: Both earpieces snapped off immediately. There are so many junk headsets on amazon, which i could understand if they were 6$, but my son kept pushing that turtle beach are the best and by making an inferior bottom market version they have damaged their reputation.
Summary: I have had the Turtle Beach XLC headset for a month now and have a very firm grasp on what it's all about. First and foremost, I have seen a number of people complaining that the chat is poor.
Summary: This headset is even more flimsy than it looks. I believe I put on headphones like anyone else, by pulling the earpieces apart and lifting the headset over my head. Well, no sooner did I have them pulled apart when they broke off and both earpieces were left dangling.
Summary: I bought these a year back and they lasted all of a month. They aren't as Convenient as the X11 model and higher as there is only one nob that turns up both the game and chat volume, yet the sound is good for the size speaker it has and Call of Duty sounded much better after using the mic.
Summary: I bought this almost exactly a year ago and the plastic finaly snapped last week. It is a step above the standard xbox mic which never seem to last me long than 6 months so it was good for the $25 I payed. Overall not great quality though, they become very unconfortable during long play sessions.
Summary: this product is okay. it lasted about 6 months for me. its not durable eventually the ear pieces broke off when my dad stepped and the mic doesnt work sometimes on them also the sound quality fades after time you should just spend an extra 16 bucks and get the x12 headset.
Summary: So I bought these thinking I was getting a bargain , turns out there cheap cause they were built cheap. I just received my ear xlc headset today and the left speaker doesn't work. I thought it was my settings but I tried them on my iPod and still the left speaker did not work.
