Lots of static, can never get a good, clear signal
21 January 2014
Summary: At first, this headset was decent. The surround sound was good and I was able to hear everything crystal clear while playing online. But after that, I would get a static sound in the background while in a game chat. People even had a hard time hearing me on their end.
Summary: I bought this headset when it went on sale. I heard great things about them and the price seemed right. I have to say that I did not experience any of the cracking and popping others have written about. The sound was great...provided I was not doing anything on line.
Summary: 20-30 feet range? Try like 1 foot range. Anything more and you hear loud clicks and pops, which you'll hear anyway. Ever seen that Mr Bean episode where he had to get in those weird poses holding an RF antenna so he can get a signal on his tv?
Summary: Everything seems to be okay except that it came with the wrong cable...It was missing the power cable that has a usb end (which connects to the headphone) and the DC end (which connects to the power supply).

Summary: I owned a pair of turtle beach X4's, not X41's, but after good use, I broke them, so I decided to buy another pair, but I could only find X41's. Figured it'd be a good buy. Don't think I could have been more wrong.
Summary: First, when it did work, which was intermittent at best, there were awsome moments. But this product is plagued with popping and interference even though multiple attempts wwere made to get rid of ANYTHING in the house which might be interfering with it, even tried unplugging everything else in the...

Summary: I have had only negative experiences with Turtle Beach products. I purchased the X11's not too long ago, but returned them a few days later because the sound quality and build were unimpressive (they have no bass, mind you, and the audio is very low).
