Pretty Darn Good

William B., Newegg
16 November 2015
  • Summary: I got these locally when I sold my main I7 rig and put together a rig from some parts I had ordered here before with a 4670k and an I5 4670. My nice soundcard went with the sold rig, and I was stuck for now with onboard sound.
  • Pros: - Not overly large - Easy hookup
  • Cons: -None

Cannot beleive the high ratings

Craig L., Newegg
8 November 2015
  • Summary: These are poor headphones because of the noise issue and lack of comfort.
  • Pros: The software works out of the box. No issues when you have speakers plugged into the rear of the PC and headphones in the front. Extra long cables allow you to use the toilet in the other room without taking off the headset. Your head will feel amazing once you take these off.
  • Cons: The ear cushions on these are like rocks. I can only wear them for twenty minutes before I have to give my head a break. The sound quality is awful. The headset makes the audio sound like it is being broadcast over an AM radio station. I suspect the long cord is not properly insulated and is acti...

Broken Ear Cup

frank c., Newegg
17 August 2015
  • Summary: They need to fix this issue, I had 2 rma replacements now i am out of warranty so I have to buy another one!
  • Pros: Good quality sound
  • Cons: The ear pieces are held to the frame by a very small and very weak plastic swivel joint. If you drop them once and they land on the ear pieces they will break.

Cheap, but good.

Brad B., Newegg
16 June 2015
  • Summary: I had to twist tie and stuff 4 ft of cord under my pc tower.
  • Pros: I have to give them 5 stars, because for the price they have served me very well. I have had my pair for nearly 5 years with not a single fault (i also take care of my stuff) The sound sound and mic are exceptionally good for the price If you want a casual pair, look no further.
  • Cons: Every pair of these you will buy will have the electrical interference static when you're using at high volumes, but only when no audio coming through. Cord way too long.

Worked for a while...

nick c., Newegg
30 March 2015
  • Pros: Comfortable for hours on end. Cheap for a headset.
  • Cons: Owned two of these because they fit that well and took exceptional care of both. Both sets were plugged in once and never relocated. The most abuse they got was removing them from stand to put on my head. The first one broke after 4 months/500+ hours due to cheap build of volume adjuster. It star...

Great Sounding Headset!

Tom N., Newegg
21 March 2015
  • Pros: I wear these mainly at night when I'm gaming because of thin walls in my house. They sound great to me. No problems. Like any pair of headphones they take a little while to get use to wearing especially if you have never worn gaming headphones at all or for long periods of time
  • Cons: Cords are a bit excessively long. If my computer was a distance away that would be understandable, or if I were to run the cords through the walls to hide them. Otherwise great headphones for the price

Not happy

Corey M., Newegg
2 March 2015
  • Summary: Just go with the px22 model its much better, much much better.
  • Pros: the speakers are excellent, same as the px22, Ive used both.
  • Cons: Okay so when you turn up the game volume on the mini amp, it starts picking all sorts of weird noises from my computer so i have to turn it down to half way, the px 22 didnt do that. The major issue is that the mic sucks, I use rosetta stone and the mic doesnt pick up my voice clearly and also se...

Best you can get at this price

Jonathan U., Newegg
29 January 2015
  • Summary: I've had these things for around 2 years and I've only ever been happy with them. I'm not rough on my equipment, but I'm not super delicate with it either, and these have held up without a single issue.
  • Pros: - Good sound quality. - Clear microphone. - Long cord. - Durable. - Very comfortable.
  • Cons: - In-line volume knobs in an awkward place.
