Summary: I was looking for some decent Turtle Beach headsets for my PS3. I had a Primsatic Wireless Headset thing before, and the only thing I really liked about them were the different colors the sides of the headphones would light up. Other than that, it was kinda uncomfortable and the sound quality wasn't the greatest. And would you know it, the right headphone went bad a month or so ago.
Summary: Didn't like the feel right away. Couldn't get use to the location of the volume control box and the weight of the volume control box felt like it was tugging on the side its connected to. Turtle Beach makes better headsets than this 1. Price wasn't bad but the Turtle Beach Ear Force PLa model is about the same price and its just as comfortable and the location of the volume control is on the headset and easy to locate.
Summary: We have an older Turtle Beach head set that we have been using on a PS3 for a while, and has always been fantastic- we still use it to this day. We bought this one for a second ps3 that we have, because we got tired of our Bluetooth dying out on us after a few hours (we play a lot of Destiny with our buddies....... a lot.....). The sound is fantastic, like having a surround sound theater in your head.
Summary: So the problem with these headphones is in the description - the title says PS3, but all over the compatibility and Q&A it says "Compatible with PS4, works for PS4." I went with it for the price/value and trusted that it was true to its word and well ... unless you want to sit a foot away from your console while gaming, you'll have to cut the wires with a razor blade of some kind. Pretty risky operation for anything electronic, obviously.
Summary: This is the second turtle beach headset I bought that lasted about 6 months. It worked fine until yesterday. The sound started to go out on the left side and eventually it stopped working all together before the end of the day. Mic went out and no sound was coming out of the headset. I do think this is a good set. But i do no recommend this set for someone looking for a set that will last. The sound quality of the set is great and the mic sounds really clear as well.
Summary: I got these to replace my Razer Kraken headset after they had broken when they fell off my desk. At first I thought these were kind of "chincy" but I'm actually pretty surprised with how much I really like them. They're very lightweight, incredibly comfortable and the sound quality is solid and the microphone is perfectly clear. The construction, while plastic, is very durable and the hand piece they come with to control the volume and disable the mic is pretty useful.
Summary: I have bought three pairs of these Turtle Beach gaming headsets. I bought them because I play a lot of online games, and I use Skype and Teamspeak clients. Now, I don't want to go with a long winded review, I'll instead give a short summary of my experience; the headset was good when I first got it, it worked, it had great sound quality, and it was just plug and play.
Summary: I waited a few weeks to write a review so here it is. the sound quality is great! the cord is just long enough to comfortably sit on my couch and play COD. I love the separate volume controls and the mic mute switch (wife does also, no more "TURN IT DOWN") and the 6' AV audio adapter that came with it to plug in to my TV.
