Question: Direction and distance on MW2 360

Sounds great but I can tell how far away the noises are coming from on MW2, in fact sometimes i have trouble knowing what direction the noise is coming from? Is it just me? Have I set something up wrong? Is there settings on the actual xbox I have to change?

    One of the things you have to get used to is telling distance. That just comes with practice. In game if you want to know the direction just spin around until it sounds like the person is in front of you in real life.
