Sounds Great, but has its flaws.

Elliot W., Newegg
1 December 2014
  • Summary: I use it for my PC. I don't use the mic as it doesn't seem compatible. It seems to have a lot of extras that I've never used. The features may not be compatible with a PC.
  • Pros: Great sound. Good Range. Comfortable. Bought in 2011 and its still in perfect shape.
  • Cons: It runs on AA batteries. Buy some rechargeables and its fine. Rarely gives warning on low battery. It usually just shuts off. Shuts off after being idle for about 5 minutes. The Bluetooth signal interferes with my WiFi signal when downloading larger files, especially when using a torrent. The dow...

Great pair of gaming headphones with a few minor drawbacks.

  • Summary: I bought these headphones to replace my broken and worn out Tritton AX720s and because they are compatible with both PS3 and XB360. When I tried out the product for the first time, the first thing I noticed is the lack of bass.

  • Summary: I love this headset! It has a couple of great features, first of all its it's wireless and that gives it a lot of points in my opinion, it has an awesome sound quality: 5.1 surround sound, that i love since I'm a fan of an FPS franchise that comes out every year LOL, you know what game I'm talking...

Good despite its limits.

Damion H., Newegg
22 April 2012
  • Summary: Despite having more cons than pros, its pretty good. the cons are really just things that need improvement. I haven't utilized all of its features but as far as primary goes there are a lot of improvements that n my opinion should have been there already.
  • Pros: Great sound and especially in surround. its just a shame my ps3 is only 5.1 Dolby digital.
  • Cons: Much room for improvement. This thing is an energy hog. I have to regularly replace my batteries at least Once a week. Range is really limited for something that consumes that much battery power.

First set of gaming headphones

Adam W., Newegg
6 January 2012
  • Summary: About the 2.4ghz interference. My first solution was to change channels. I tried ch1 through ch11 on my Linksys E2000. No luck. If I changed to 5ghz, the dropouts and distortion disappeared, but my iPhone/iPad lost wifi connectivity.
  • Pros: Comfortable, a 3 hour gaming session made my ears a bit warm, but not uncomfortable. Well made, I don't feel like I will break them. Easy set up. I switch between using them on my PS3 and Xbox360. The alternate sound presets are cool, but I use the main preset on both platforms. I think you get t...
  • Cons: The swivels on the ear cups feel a bit flimsy. I have a really nice set of Sony monitors that feel the same way. That being said, I think if you refrain from chucking them across the room, you should be just fine. The surround sound is not as well defined as I would like. I get a general sense of...

Functional headphones

andrew d., Newegg
22 September 2011
  • Summary: Every friend I have demo’d has ran out an bought them. BT feature sells them every time.. With all the blinking LEDs on these they look like a should be landing aircraft with them.
  • Pros: Most functional headphones I have ever owned. I sync up with my phone or laptop while piping in TV or Gaming. The BT connection is stronger that my BT Motorola headphones as I can walk quite for away. It really does feel like cheating when playing Black Ops type games. I have no problem with 2 AA...
  • Cons: These are not for music listening the sound stage just isn’t built for it although you can and it isn’t terrible. Those who say they have “amazing bass” knows nothing about headphones. The “presets” are more hype than well-designed. The product’s website is awful which includes the product suppor...
